11:55 PM IST:  We have witnessed one of the best games this season, the game was swung like a pendulum from one side to another and until the last ball one couldn't determine the winner. We have a lot more in store in the coming days, That's it from us today, Hope you enjoyed the coverage, I am Ovaise Shariff signing off on behalf of my co-commentators Ayan Chatterjee, Akshaya Krishna Polya and scorer/analyst Paras Yadav. Join us for all the live action at 6:30 PM IST. Until then, it's goodbye and good night.
Quinton de Kock | Man of the Match: "Ahh!! That was little bit quick to be honest but I held on to it. Had some refreshments in the break and has some drinks as well, so that I get my energy back. Just that the frustration which was on with me for underperforming in the last two games came out of me tonight. The shots just came off and I didn't step back. They have played exceedingly well to come close to us. One of the best games so far. They batted with no fear and that was why they were able to play such freely. Ahh!! When Stoinis was handed the ball to deliver the last over, I firstly thought okay. He will do the job. Still I had hope of a win even after the first six in the final over. But after the second one going out of the park, I thought it's done and dusted for us. But is was really Lewis's catch which changed the game towards us. As they say catches win matches. It was a brilliant take under such humongous pressure. Happy for the win and qualifications as well. Thank you."
KL Rahul | Lucknow Super Giants Captain: "It's a good point. I should get paid more for games like this. We have missed games like this. This is a rare game where this went down to the wire. Glad to be on the winning side and not on the losing side like before. So, happy to win tonight. Anyone could have won. Credit to both teams for this game. I won't say we held our nerves better, it was a matter of three runs. Stoinis bowled well in the last two balls to execute his skills. The way we played throughout was great and we knew KKR will come hard at us, and credit to them for playing so well. We told in the time-outs to remain calm and execute the skillsets under pressure. I was a spectator, today. Quinny was magnificent and we knew it was amazing and we knew a player was getting 50s' 60s' and not carrying it through, but today was special for him. That was an unbelievable catch from Evin. I mean he didn't bat but contributed in the field and he was out with tummy issues. That level of commitment was amazing, to say the least. Mohsin is a special player with his yorkers and the lengths. He understands his game well and does it to perfection. He has got a good temperament and I feel he will play for India soon. India always needs a left-arm bowler and he is a good option to have for India. Happy to win and end on a high league stage and we look forward to the playoffs now next week."
Time for the post-match presentation ceremony with Murali Kartik.
Quinton de Kock is the Player of the Match for his 140* off 70 deliveries.
Marcus Stoinis: "Initially feeling was I should have bowled through to the middle. I didn't say that. The ball always finds me at the end with the bat and ball. I think you want to look at how the batters do well and which side and then back your strengths as well. That was a learning for me. No, never felt it was comfortable, but knew that I had to back myself up. It's about bowling the wide yorkers and that was my plan. Unfortunately, I couldn't get it right and so I went and bowled the straighter yorkers. That was an unbelievable catch, to be honest. I will give him the Player of the Match award. The conference was to bowl straight and I did it so happy with that. When the wicket fell, there was an outpouring of emotions and also lots of words which I can't tell on live television. In the end, we were calm and just about held our nerves for the win."
Shreyas Iyer | Kolkata Knight Riders Captain: "Not feeling sad at all. One of greatest games ever to be involved. Rinku brought us so close and I thought he would have won it for us. But he got out at the wrong time. I was hoping for Rinku Singh to finish this. He played superbly well. When I came out to field, I didn't really think that 210 was on the cards. Credits to them for batting well. LSG batters, especially de Kock played an amazing innings! They were too good for us to be honest. See, we have played very good in this IPL. We had some great games and in some games we lost it with a close margin. See, out of many players, I feel Rinku is a find for us. He was involved with us from many seasons. But really got an opportunity this season and he showed everyone what talent he has in him. Yes, it was a very good relationship with Baz. He is a fantastic man to learn from. He never judges you nor he scolds anyone. He is a very calm person under pressure and he has given us great lessons of the game."

Ovaise: Lucknow Super Giants won the toss and opted to bat first on a dry-looking pitch, Quinton de Kock and the skipper walked out to bat in the middle and were very watchful in the beginning taking very less risks but once they got their eye in, they started peppering the bowling all around the park and had a strong start scoring 45 without losing a wicket in the power play. Narine was brought into the attack in the powerplay and kept bowling a nagging line and length which he is known for and dried up runs from one end.

De Kock smacked a magnificent century, he was dropped twice, once by the debutant in the third man region and one by Sam Billings behind the stump, he made full use of these chances and powered LSG to 210 along with KL Rahul who ended with an unbeaten knock of 68. The pair registered the highest ever opening partnership in the Indian Premier League and the momentum was on their side.

KKR got off to a disastrous start losing 2 early wickets early in the chase, they were 2 down with just 10 runs on the board. Nitish Rana walked into the middle and counter-attacked right from the get-go and he got KKR back into this game and made them believe that this was still possible. Nitish was dismissed in the 8th over and Sam Billings continued from where Rana had left it off, Sam along with Iyer hammered the bowlers all across the park and KKR looks on track to chase this one down.

Mohsin Khan bowled a terrific 13th over and shifted the momentum back in LSG’s direction, Stoinis dismissed Iyer in the 14th over and in the 16th over Sam Billings had to make his way back to the Pavilion as well. It was time for KKR to unleash the beast, 'DRE RUSS' but he was dismissed for just 5, at this point in time, KKR looked down and out of this game with 2 new men in the middle (Rinku Singh and Sunil Narine).

The game was dead and buried, but some unbelievable batting from the two left-handers got KKR till the finish line. 21 runs were required in the last over for them to cross it and the ball was handed to Marcus Stoinis. 4 6 6 of the first 3 deliveries, Rinku was on fire and looked like he was going to get this done with a couple of balls to spare. 5 from 3 were needed and Rinku managed to scamper through for two runs getting the equation down to 3 from 2 deliveries!! The cricketing world had stopped for a second when one of the most amazing catches one will ever see given the situation of the match was taken in the very next ball by Evin Lewis who had not done much in the game until then but then came up with the biggest contributions. Give Evin Lewis the man of the match not QDK!!! So it finally came down to the last ball and 3 runs were required. Marcus held his nerve and bowled a cracking yorker and hammered the last nail in the coffin for LSG. We have witnessed a thriller at the DY Patil stadium today, some unbelievable cricket!!! LSG has qualified for the playoff with this win!!

Ovaise: OH GOD!! Stoinis has held his nerve and delivers the finally punch!! Yorker on the base of the off stump and gets his man!! What a game of cricket this has been. Simply fantastic!!  CRAZY SCENES at Navi Mumbai, the crowd has gone bonkers!! Edge of the seat stuff, I am falling short of words at this moment!!
Akshaya: Marcus Stoinis is pumped and everyone in the LSG camp are. WOW WOW WOW!!! And agony for KKR whose tournament ends here!! So please catch your breath everyone!! One for the ages!! LSG qualifies for the playoffs officially!!
19.6 M Stoinis to U Yadav
W BOWLED! Stoinis has done it for the Lucknow Super Giants from Zero to a Hero here. Gets in the yorker length correctly, Umesh tries to swing as he had to and misses as the stumps are rattled. The off poles go for a walk as Stoinis redeems himself here. KKR falls short and bows out of the tournament. Heartbreak for them, but credit to them for going down fighting here. LSG are through to the playoffs and climb to second place. A 2-run win for LSG.

Ovaise: Whaaaaaaaaaat?? I do not believe this!! Blinder in the deep by Elvin Lewis who hasn't done anything so far makes the biggest contribution in this match!! Takes a one-handed blinder..SUPER OVER?
Akshaya: Wait what?? No one could believe it!! How about that for a catch? We have seen everything tonight!! A one handed stunner from Evin Lewis!! Three needed in one ball!!
19.5 M Stoinis to R Singh
W That's in the air and what a catch that is Unbelievable from Lewis! Rinku Singh gets a wide fuller length ball, and he thought he has got it in the gap and Lewis came out of nowhere and took an absolute stunner. The pendulum swings again in favor of LSG as Rinku departs for 40 off 15 balls. 3 needed off 1 ball now. 7 down for 208.
Akshaya: 3 from 2 balls!! What a blinder both these have played!! There was a check for a short run as the bat was dropped from Rinku's hand! But he as his leg over the crease, so all okay!!
