11:52 PM IST: A fabulous game of cricket, not for the weak-hearted! The 2022 edition of IPL has been the most entertaining and this season promises lots more drama in the coming days. That's it from us today, I am Ovaise Shariff signing off on behalf of my co-commentators Ayan Chatterjee, Akshaya Krishna Polya and scorer/analyst Paras Yadav. Join us for all the live-action tomorrow at 6.30 PM IST. Until then, it's goodbye and good night!!
Rahul Tripathi | Player of the Match: "I would say wherever you want me to bat, I enjoy batting at 3, consolidating the start from the openers or whatever the situation. He is a great bowler. I was reacting to the merit of the ball and it came off. Not exactly. It was about how the wicket is playing and depends on the merit of the situation. I think it's important to score runs and the strike rate as well. It's a mixture of both. I think helping the team wins thrills me. I think it's about one's two's and in T20s everything is an event ball and so I keep it simple. My ultimate dream is of course to make the team win and also dream to play for the country. But for that, I have to keep playing well and bring consistency to my game. The more I do well, the better it is to represent my county. Hope to win the last game as well."
Kane Williamson | Sunrisers Hyderabad Captain: "I mean we had a few games going away from us. We lost a few on the trot. With momentum shifting away we did well to win this. I am happy to win this game. I think he (Rahul Tripathi) played amazingly well. He is an outstanding player. He is proving it all the way through in the competition. Yeah, Umran bowls quick always. He has good gas. You need to be cautious while operating with him. But he is learning. He is very young and will learn as the days are progressed. Priyam is a fine, fine player. He has captained the Under-19 side and has done well. He got to play his first game and he played very well. Bhuvi was magnificent as always. Tim David was going all guns blazing. It was very much needed to stop him and a fortunate run-out helped us. I said to Bhuvi to bowl according to the situation and he executed those well. He is a super bowler and I am glad that we kept our nerves to win. See, as a unit we have done well tonight to win the game."
Rahul Tripathi is the Player of the Match for his 76 off 44 deliveries, including nine fours and three sixes.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar: "I was just looking to bowl the yorkers, the leg-side boundary was longer and I knew it would not go to the fence and so happy to execute it. I am happy with how I am bowling. Wicket-taking is pure luck because sometimes you have to see if it's helping the team. So, I am happy to contribute to the team's win. Umran is young and he is learning, good scouting by our team, we tell him to focus on the basics and don't tell him too much. About yorkers, well it's not easy to execute. if you do not then you are in trouble and so if you get it right then it's easier for you to do the job. Important win for us. I think we have one more game to go and we would like to win that as well. Then it depends on the other results. We can't control that. We are looking to win our final game on Sunday."
Rohit Sharma | Mumbai Indians Captain: "Yeah, till about second last over I though we were in the game. But that unfortunate run-out took the game away from us. We were in till David was striking well. His run-out changed the things around. But still with 19 needed off the last over, you would back yourselves. Credit to Sunrisers, they bowled well and held their nerve well. We came back well with the ball after they were going hard in the first 15 overs. We really bowled well to restrict them under 200. It feels happy (talking about his highest score of this season). Credit to them. Yeah, as I said we wanted to try out a few things and they have came off well for us. Tough night for us."
11:30 PM IST | Ovaise: What a stunning game of cricket! Was an absolute roller coaster of a ride, with excellent cricket from both teams, one could pick the winner until the final ball was bowled. Sunrisers Hyderabad held their never and came out trumps in this encounter!!

Mumbai Indian won the toss and opted to bowl first. There was a slight change in the batting order of SRH, Skipper Kane Williamson dropped himself down the order and Priyam Garg came out to open with Abhishek Sharma. The Australian duo (Daniel Sams and Riley Meredith) opened the bowling for MI and Sams deceived Abhishek with a slower off-cutter and sent him back to the dressing room on just 9 runs. Rahul Tripathi walked into the middle and was very aggressive from the get-got, He hammered the bowlers all around the park and was particularly severeagainst the spinners. Priyam Garg (42 of 26) who was playing the first game of the tournament made full use of the opportunity and took SRH off to a flying start despite losing an early wicket.

Rahul Tripathi played a magnificent knock (76 of 44) and took the team past the 150-run mark and was ably helped by Nicolas Pooran who smashed 33 of 22. Ramandeep was the pick of the bowlers for MI, he scalped 3 wickets at took them at crucial junctures of the game which pegged SRH back, at one stage it looked like they would go past the 210 mark but ended with just 193.

Momentum was with Mumbai Indians after finishing with the ball well, but it was a tricky chase. Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan came out to bat with an aggressive intent and made full use of the powerplay scoring 51 for no loss. The skipper looked like he was back in prime form and some of the pick-up shots he played were simply magnificent. Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Fazalhaq Farooqi started proceedings with the ball for SRH,  they missed their lines and allowed the MI openers to get their eye in.

Washington Sundar was introduced into the attack and he managed to get the big wicket of Rohit Sharma who was looking to take this game away from SRH. It was a downslide after this for Mumbai, they lost wickets in quick succession and were 4 down with 127 runs on the board. The game looked like it was done and dusted after Stubbs got run out but the man from Singapore had plans and he was looking unstoppable in the 18th over, tonking Natarajan for 3 sixers in a row, Mumbai needed just 19 over 13 delivery and David lost his wicket in trying to steal a single of the last ball and keep strike.

Mumbai were still in the game with 19 required off 12 delivery but then one of the best overs in IPL history was bowled by the veteran Bhuvneshwar Kumar. He bowled a maiden wicket and had the game sealed for SRH. With 19 required off the last 6, Ramandeep fancied his chances of finishing it but fell short of 3 runs. One of the best games of the season by far, this game had everything. Drama in the end and a Heart-Break for all the Mumbai Indians fans.

Akshaya: Mumbai have themselves to blame here! or should I say Tim David has himself to blame at. SRH have held their nerve and it was Bhuvneshwar who did the job with a brilliant 19th over!!

6 A slower ball into the pitch, Ramandeep waits for it and swats it away over deep midwicket for the maximum to end the over and the innings. But it doesn't matter. The SIX came one ball too late as SRH registered a 3-run win to keep their slim playoffs hopes alive.
Akshaya: This should be it. 10 off last ball!! Perfect yorker!!
19.5 F Farooqi to R Singh
0 A brilliant yorker under extreme pressure, Ramandeep can squeeze it to the covers. That's the game.
Ovaise: Ramandeep Singh has not given up yet. 10 runs of 2 balls!!!
Akshaya: There is one!! A much needed boundary!! 10 off 2 now.
19.4 F Farooqi to R Singh
4 A slower ball into the pitch, Ramandeep pulls it away towards the deep square leg region and it goes flat one bounce and over the ropes. 10 needed off 2 balls now.
14 off 3 now!!
19.3 F Farooqi to R Singh
2 A slower ball into the pitch, Ramandeep miscues it towards mid-off and it lands in no man's land and they get a couple of runs. 14 needed off 3 balls now.
Akshaya: Ramandeep Singh has done his bit with the ball (3-0-20-3). Can he do with the bat? 16 in four balls!!
19.2 F Farooqi to R Singh
2 That's in the air, inside out over extra cover for a couple of runs. Fuller length on off, Ramandeep goes for the big one and gets two here.
