So, That's it from the first semi-final in the battle of the roses. Lancashire is through while Yorkshire bows out. Switch tabs to watch the second semi-final between Somerset and Hampshire that comes up next. Do stay tuned for more action on this Super Saturday as we are just getting started here. Till next time, this is Ayan Chatterjee signing off on behalf of Vatsal Negandhi and scorer/analyst Paras Yadav. Stay happy, safe, and cool as we catch you on the next one. Cheers!
Keaton Jennings, Player of the Match: "Yes I enjoyed that massively. The stadium was a packed one and great to go into the final and play there and later tonight. We do not have a preference as to who we play in the final, just will chill and relax and look forward to the final later tonight."
Dane Vilas (Lancashire Captain): "Oh my ghosh! I wasn't expecting it to be a 200-run chase. That was some game. Our bowlers were taken apart but at the half-way we backed ourselves to chase that down. Exceptional batting from Keaton and I picked up from where he left. It was a good chase and I am over the moon for the boys as we will be playing the finals in a while. Thank you."
Harry Brook (Yorkshire Captain):  We had a really good effort to get over 200. We had a bit of a stumble before Thommo got us over. Their spinners bowled very well. Our spinners bowled well too. It looked like a tough wicket to get boundaries off-spin. Wickets were key at the start. If we would have got two or three, it might have been a different story.
18:35 IST: This has been a superb chase by Lancashire as they win this game by 6 wickets with 8 balls to spare as they power their way into the final. This is the highest successful chase on Finals Day. They go into their fourth final in Blast history.

Chasing a daunting total of 205 for a place in the final, Lancashire had a rollicking start as they got to 89 runs in the first powerplay. Phil Salt started it all with his 36 off 15 balls including 29 runs off the Revis over. It was the Keaton Jennings show alongside Dane Vilas the skipper who dominated the chase. Keaton Jennings top-scored with 75 off 51 balls while Dane Vilas remained unbeaten on 63 off 36 balls. Their partnership of 112 runs in double quick time as they made this chase a mockery. Croft scored 14 off 5 balls while Tim David contributed with 10 off 6 balls. But the bowlers had a tough day in the office.

From Yorkshire's bowlers' point of view, everyone went for runs. A couple of wickets for Dominic Drakes and a couple of Matthew Revis who went for 29 runs in one over. The others went wicketless and barring a few moments, they couldn't keep Lancashire down for long. Lancashire wins this with 8 balls to spare.

Earlier in the game, Yorkshire skipper Harry Brook won the toss and elected to bat first on a lovely batting day with the sun shining at Edgbaston. Yorkshire lost Adam Lyth for 7 off 4 balls. Dawid Malan looked good while he was there for his 33 off 22 balls. Tom Kohler-Cadmore was the top scorer as he scored 66 off 44 balls. Shadab Khan chipped in with 34 off 24 balls. But it was Jordan Thompson with his belligerent 50 off 18 balls that had six sixes and one boundary in it. His innings propelled Yorkshire to 204-7 in 20 overs.

From Lancashire’s bowlers’ point of view, Luke Wood bowled 4 overs and 1 wicket for 36 runs. Richard Gleeson was taken to the cleaners as he went for 54 in 4 overs. Danny Lamb picked up a couple of wickets for his 45 runs in 4 overs. Matthew Parkinson was the pick of the bowlers with his 3 overs yielding 18 runs and a wicket in his name. Tom Hartley went for 17 runs in the 2 overs he bowled. Luke Wells bowled decently for his 3 overs which went for 32 runs as he picked up a couple of wickets as well towards the end. The batters of Lancashire made up in the end as they won this quite easily. So, a win by Lancashire by 6 wickets with 8 balls to spare.

Stay tuned for the post-match presentation ceremony that comes your way soon.

18.4 M Revis to D Vilas
6 FOUR!! Short and wide from Revis, Vilas hits it over the deep point region for a maximum. This is some chase by the Lancs as they were always ahead of the run rate from the start and a fitting end to hit the winning shot by their skipper D Vilas who remains unbeaten on
63* off 36 balls and gets his team through to the finals. This is the highest run chase in the history of the T20 Blast final's day games. A brilliant game of cricket here at Birmingham.

There is a No-Ball check here.  They will check this for the height. It's caught at a deep square leg. It looks OUT to me. Yes, it's fine. Fair delivery. David has to go.
18.1 M Revis to T David
W A full toss dipping on the batsman, David hits it to the deep square leg region where Dawid Malan takes an easy catch. David departs here for 10 as Lancs lose their 4th one of the match.
Lancashire has made this chase look ridiculously easy here. Just 4 runs are needed off 12 balls now.
