That's the end of our coverage for this game. Yorkshire Vikings hold their nerves to qualify for the finals day. Do join us tomorrow for more cricketing action around the world. This is me, Akshay Bhide, signing off, on behalf of my co-commentator Nikhil Kalla and scorer Paras Yadav. Tata. Bye Bye. Good Night.
Tom Kohler-Cadmore | Player of the Match: "To be honest, we thought it was done the way Jamie Overton played and took the game away from us. But Thompson bowled an over of the tournament for us. This was my best fielding attempt so far and lucky enough to hit the stumps. Can't wait to get to the finals day and see what it brings us. I had to rebuild the innings after two quick wickets and happy with my effort. But credit to everyone for stepping up when it mattered the most."
Akshay: What a match we just witnessed. Yorkshire Vikings beat Surrey by one run to seal a berth on the finals day. Jordan Thompson held his nerve in the final over as he defended five of it to help his side defend 161 successfully. Heartbreak for Surrey as they have been knocked out of the competition, courtesy of some brilliant bowling from Jordan Thompson.

It was always going to be a difficult task to chase down 161 on this tricky surface. Surrey got off to the worst possible start as their skipper Will Jacks departed in the very first over. Rory Burns and Tom Curran tried to resurrect the innings. Burns was struggling in the middle and he departed on 28 off 27 balls in the ninth over. Curran played a good hand of 36 until he departed trying to up the ante.

Surrey kept losing wickets at regular intervals but Laurie Evans and Jamie Overton meant business. With the required run rate just above 11, they hit some maximums and put the pressure back on the Vikings. It went down to the wire and both Evans and Overton remained unbeaten till the last over when only five runs were needed. Overton departed on 40 and Evans was stuck at the other end on 35 as Narine departed on a golden duck and Atkinson failed to get any bat on the last ball as the Vikings defended the total successfully to win the game by a solitary run. David Willey and Shadab Khan picked up two wickets each but the man of the moment was Jordan Thompson who defended five of the last over to take his side to the finals day on July 16.

Earlier, Surrey skipper Will Jacks won the toss and opted to bowl first. They bowled brilliantly as they didn’t allow the Yorkshire batters to get away in the powerplay. Tom Kohler-Cadmore and David Willey led the recovery work for them and built a solid partnership for the third wicket. Both put 93 between them before Willey departed on 30 in the 15
th over. Kohler-Cadmore fantastic knock of 62 off 48 balls came to an end in the 16th over.

Kohler-Cadmore’s innings laid the platform for a strong finish. Cameos from Shadab Khan (21 off 12 balls) and Will Fraine (32* off 14 balls) helped them post 160 on the board, losing five wickets. Gus Atkinson for Surrey picked up two wickets with the ball, giving away only 25 runs in his four overs. This helped them restrict Yorkshire to 160 but they failed to hold their nerves in the end as they lost the game by one run.

1b WHAT A NIGHT OF CRICKET THIS HAS BEEN HERE AS YORKSHIRE HAS DONE THE UNTHINKABLE... Surrey looked like they had it but what a peach of a final over by Jordan Thompson as he defends 5 runs in the final over. This was full and just wide of the off-stump and Atkinson tries to slog at this but he misses out and they run a single but it just does not matter. WE HAVE BEEN TREATED WITH SOME SERIOUS CRICKET TONIGHT.
3 from 1 now. Can Atkinson be the hero for Surrey?

W OUT!!! How has the game changed in just 5 balls is amazing. What a great catch, this is by Will Fraine who pulls out a ripper of a catch. This was full and on the pads of Narine who flicks this and finds the sweetest part of his bat as this is taken in the deep
Akshay: 3 from 2 now. This is getting interesting. A tie here will see Yorkshire progress to the finals day, thanks to losing less number of wickets as compared to Surrey.

Terrific work from TKC and has hit the bull's eye at the striker's end and Overton is well short of his crease.
19.4 J Thompson to J Overton
W OUT!!! OH MY GOODNESS... This was not needed by the two set batters out there. Such moments are what they are paid big for. The pressure gets on the nerves of the two set batters it seems. Slower delivery wide towards off-stump and it is a brilliant piece of bowling by Thompson but the batters run for it and TKC hits the bulls eye to dismiss Overton.
 3 needed from 3
19.3 J Thompson to L Evans
1 Low full toss and he has been pushed away towards the long-on fielder for a single.
19.2 J Thompson to J Overton
1 Brilliant Yorker as he followed Overton but he somehow manages to push this towards short third for a single.
Willey has reviewed this for a caught behind. Original decision is NOT OUT. Fair delivery to start. There is a flat line on the UltraEdge and NOT OUT it is.
19.1 J Thompson to J Overton
0 Thompson bends his back here and Overton tries to slap this one but he misses out as TKC collects it behind the wicket.
