The hosts didn't get the perfect start to the innings but they finished off the innings in the perfect style!!!! They lost Reece in the first over. Madsen joined Masood in the middle. Madsen was in a different mood today he came with all guns blazing and took over the Durham bowler and made the chase look like a cakewalk for Derbyshire.
Masood and Cartwright helped Madsen in building the small partnerships. Madsen hammered 11 fours and 3 sixes and got to his hundred in just 47 deliveries He was striking the ball at the rate of 212. Durham bowlers were punished by his masterful strokes.
