Milestone
That's all for the coverage of this match. This is Tugral Azmi signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Hitesh Peddurwar and our beloved scorer Shubro.
Hampshire won this exciting match by 9 runs. Gloucestershire's middle-order batters performed very well in the end.

Gloucestershire won the toss and decided to bowl and their bowlers shone in bowling but when they came to chase, they were not in their favor. Gloucestershire had a poor start Hammond got out on the first over. Dent and Cockbain handled the innings pretty well after getting to a poor start. They built a partnership of 43 runs for the 2nd wicket. Both the batters could not show much flair and get out on the score of just 24 and 19. After the dismissals of Dent and Cockbain, Phillips and Higgins tried to handle the sinking innings of Gloucestershire but both the batters flopped today. Gloucestershire had lost all their top-order batters for just 64 and it looked like Gloucestershire would lose the match by a huge margin. Bracey and Taylor took charge of the team's sinking innings and both took some to understand the pitch movement. Bracey and Taylor started with all guns blazing and scored at a blistering pace. Together they put up an important partnership of 54 runs for the 5th wicket and brought the match to a good turn. Bracey was looking good, he scored 40 of 26 balls and got dismissed while trying to hit the ball over the long-off. After the dismissal of Bracey, Howell joined Taylor in the middle, Howell started batting aggressively as soon as he came to the crease, he scored 34* off 13, which included 3 fours and 2 sixes. Taylor also played a wonderful inning towards 37, giving full support from the other side to Bracey and Howell to take the match till the end. But in the end, Gloucestershire lost to Hampshire by 9 runs.

However, from the bowling side, Fuller was an effective and impactful bowler throughout the game. He was the pick of the bowlers for the Gloucestershire he took 2 wickets and gave away 23 runs in his 4 overs. Wood also managed to take a couple of wickets but he gave away a lot of runs. Wheal, Ellis, and Dawson took one wicket each respectively.

Earlier in the day, Hampshire didn't get to a good start as they lost their skipper in the third over. Then Prest joined McDermott in the middle and they both stitched 31 runs partnership for the 2nd wicket then Amir picked up his second wicket. Weatherley joined him in the middle and they built a partnership of 50 runs for the 3rd wicket then wickets started tumbling down for Hampshire, Ben Mcdermott got out after scoring 50 runs off 38 balls. Fuller played a quick cameo of 22 runs of 14 balls. Dawson scored 20 off 13 balls.
