So that's it from this game. I am AkshayaKrishna Polya signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Ninaad Dixit who alongside our scorer/analyst Yogesh brought you all the live actions from this mouth-watering thriller. We will meet in the next game. For now, it's good night and ta-ta!
What a game we have had here! It was a rollercoaster ride for sure as the game had many ups and downs. Finally Chris Jordan smashed one into the stands to make sure that there will be no hiccups. Surrey have continued their winning streak with a five wickets win over Hampshire.

Chasing a competitive total of 152 to win, Surrey didn't had the start they were looking as Will Jacks perished very early in the piece. Then it was a good partnership off 47-runs between Jamie Smith and Laurie Evans for the second wicket. Smith (25 off 19) edged one to the keeper as he tried to cut Liam Dawson.

Sunil Narine (11 off 8) came in at number four and did his normal as he smoked a six off Mason Crane, who eventually had the last laugh in the same over. They then lost the well set Evans (29 off 24) as he gave a catching practice for the short extra covers fielder off James Fuller.

With scorecard reading 4 down for 84 in 10.2 overs, there was a small dark cloud hovering around the visitors. It was Kieron Pollard, who smashed the bowlers around the park as he confirmed that the chase wouldn't get hectic at the end even though he gets out. Pollard's 34 off 22 had three fours and two daunting biggies. He added a much needed 46-run stand for the fifth wicket alongside Rory Burns.

Pollard and Jamie Smith were taken care off by the bowling side with in a span of 1-run leaving the Surrey side at 131/6. Everyone where up for that final minute twist but Burns and Jordan had none off it. Both batted patiently and scored accordingly. Burns was unbeaten on 21 off 24 while Jordan was unbeaten on 10 off 9. That six from Jordan off Nathan Ellis in the last ball of the 19th over almost sealed the deal for the batting side. It was an anti climax end to the game as Chris Wood delivered a wide in the second ball off the last over, handing a win for Surrey by four wickets.

For Hampshire, their spinners, especially, Liam Dawson was incredible with the ball as he finished with the figures of 4-0-21-2. The other spinner Mason Crane did pick a couple of wickets but was a tad expensive. James Fuller was the other bowler who got into the wickets column with a couple to his name.

Earlier, Surrey invited Hampshire to have a bat and on the bank of valuable contributions from James Vince (30 off 20), Joe Weatherley (29 off 25) and James Fuller (39* off 22) posted a respectable total of 151/7 in their allotted 20 overs. Hampshire did had the collapse as they were seen struggling at 94/6 at 14.1 overs but thanks to Fuller's counter attacking knock. For Surrey, Gus Atkinson and Jamie Overton returned with a couple of wickets while Sunil Narine and Chris Jordan finished with a wicket each to their name.
