That's all we have from the game today. I'm Saiprasad Kagne signing off with my fellow commentator Nikhil along with our scorer Paras. Till then, Take Care, Goodnight, and Good Bye !!!
23:00 IST | Saiprasad | Review: With that huge SIX !!! over the square leg fence, Derbyshire won by 6 wickets (DL/S Method). Earlier in the day, the visitors started in good form with 62 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in the powerplay. The powerplay ended with Finn Allen being forced to fall after scoring 37 points in no time.

After setting a furious batting display in today's first innings, Harry Brook scored 77 today out of 50 deliveries, hitting four maximums.
As a result of the collapse, the visitors are short by 20-30 runs as they lost 5 wickets for 6 runs in 11 deliveries. By the end of their 20 overs, they have scored 175 runs for the loss of 10 wickets.

Then, Derbyshire batters came on the crease to chase down the decent total but suddenly after 2 deliveries, it started raining all over the place and the covers were back in now. The rain lasts for more than an hour thus, the umpires decided to use a DL/S method here which results in the target of 105 runs in 10 overs of play.

After the play resumes, Derbyshire lost 2 wickets in an over as Dominic Leech strikes in his first over itself. Reece and Wadsen were the batters, who were dismissed by Leech. Then, Masood and Plooy established a 62-run partnership stand which indeed was the major reason for their victory. But unfortunately, the great catch at short third man forces Masood to walk back towards the pavilion in the 8th over.

Now, 27 runs are needed off only 12 balls. In this situation, Plooy stood up and controlled their innings with the constant attack even if they were losing wickets in the end. As a result, they chase down 19 runs off the last 6 balls quite comfortably with 2 more balls left in the innings.

9.4 M Waite to Plooy
6 SIX!!! Well this is done here as Plooy has hit this for a maximum towards deep mid-wicket as they complete the double over Yorkshire. This was back of a length and he has pulled this for a maximum over the deep mid-wicket fielder for half a dozen runs.
9.3 M Waite to Plooy
2 Back of a length delivery and he has edged this as this flies over the head off the keeper for a couple.
9.2 M Waite to Plooy
4 FOUR!!! Oh No what has he done, A misfield at this stage is just unacceptable. This was a fuller delivery and he has come down the track to smash this but he manages to edge this that runs towards the backward square leg for a couple but a misfiled turns this to a boundary.
9.2 M Waite to Plooy
WD Waite is not happy with this decision but the umpire calls it a wide.
9.1 M Waite to Plooy
6 SIX!!! Perfect start to this over as he hits Waite for a maximum first up here. This was full and wide outside the off-stump and he has swept this all the way over the head of the deep mid-wicket fielder for a maximum. 13 needed off 5 now.

8.5 S Khan to M Mckiernan
4 FOUR!!! Lucky gets Mckiernan here. This was a fuller delivery and he has gone for a wild slog sweep but this catches the outside edge of his bat and it flies over the short third man to travel towards the boundary line behind the wicket for four runs.

8.3 S Khan to B Guest
0 Quicker one by Shadab here. This was short-pitched and quicker as Guest misses out on this.
8.2 S Khan to B Guest
2 Fuller delivery and he has swept this towards the square leg region for a couple.
8.1 S Khan to B Guest
0 Dot to follow the wide here as this was full and he misses out on a slog sweep here.
