What a way to end the match this by Tim David as he smokes that one over the fence and seals the deal for his side. A comfortable win for the visitors here at Grace Road as they beat the Leicestershire by 7 wickets and 23 balls to spare. A couple of rain interruptions in the second innings delayed the game but in the end, it was an easy win for the visitors who chased down the target of 136 with ease.
Chasing 136 Lancashire lost the wicket of Jennings early in the innings on the score of 7 but then Phil Salt and Steven Croft took the responsibility and played sensible cricket where they scored runs at a brisk rate without taking too many risks. They scored 38 and 45 respectively as Salt was sent back towards the pavilion by Naveen as he ends up edging that one to the keeper. After their departure, Dane Vilas and Tim David did the finishing job and they took them over the winning line. Tim David remained unbeaten on 24 from 17 balls.
So all and all great all-round performance from the Lancashire side which consolidates their top position on the points table and the road to the knockouts has more than over for the Leicestershire.

6 SIXX!!! What a way to end the match for Lancashire. Tim David shows his power in the end as he sends that one over the fence for a maximum. Naveen ul Haq comes back into the attack and he bowls that one on a fuller length on the woods. David makes room and smokes that one over the long-on fence for a maximum here. With that, Lancashire beats Leicestershire by 7 wickets.
