Well that's it for today folks! This is Anirudh, signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Nikhil, and it was a pleasure to bring you this match LIVE! Until next time!
WITH AN ALL ROUND CRACKING DISPLAY, NORTHAMPTONSHIRE DEFEAT DERBYSHIRE BY 5 WICKETS! They have managed to chase down the total in just 18.1 overs and complete a comprehensive victory over their opponents. A lot of areas need improvement from Derbyshire if they have to bounce back after today.

The first innings was dominated by the Northamptonshire bowlers, with Derbyshire clawing their way back in patches. Wayne Madsen top scored for Derbyshire with 37 runs from 27 balls, as Tom Taylor ensured they began and ended the same way. He picked up 3 wickets in the 18th over to to dismiss the lower middle order of Derbyshire. He ended up picking 4/27 from his 4 overs.

The chase began and there was anticipation to see Chris Lynn at the top of the order. However, a peach of a delivery meant Lynn ended up edging one behind to the keeper and walking back to the pavilion with a golden duck. But that paved the way for Josh Cobb and a special knock to come. He donned the aggressor's hat and carved apart the bowlers around the park.

Wickets kept tumbling around him as Ben Curran walked back soon after Lynn, and was followed by Zaib. Cobb was unfazed as he ended up smashing a half-century and a match winning knock of 70 runs from 44 balls! Scrimshaw's pace and accuracy troubled the batters through out the innings but Neesham played a quick fire knock of 20 runs from 13 deliveries while Keogh acted as the anchor to ensure a safe path to victory, scoring an unbeaten and well paced 28 runs off 24 balls!

Derbyshire will be disappointed with both their batting and bowling today. Kudos to Northamptonshire for putting up a dominant and cohesive display to take victory in this match!

4 FOUR!!! Keogh finishes off in a style here, This was wide and short and he needed no second invitations to smoke this past the extra cover fielder to score a boundary through the cover. The hosts have won this comprehensively.
