Tugral: Northamptonshire steel backs won the match by 4 wickets. When Northamptonshire’s openers came out to chase 155 runs. Chris Lynn and Tom Curran tried to give an aggressive start but after 35 runs, Northampton’s first wicket fell as Curran. After Curran's dismissal, the skipper of Northampton comes to bat to support Lynn. Lynns had handled Northampton's innings from one side, he was looking in a different rhythm today. Cobb put on a 32 runs partnership for the second wicket with Lynn but could not do much today with the bat and Northampton lost their second on the 67 runs. Zaib joined Lynn in the middle, together both of them tried to cross the team's line and both were playing well Lynn and Zaib made an important partnership of 45 runs for the third wicket. Lynn regained his form in this match which was good news for Northampton. Chris Lynn played a fine inning of 67 runs in 47 balls and scored his first half-century in this vitality t20 edition. In the last few overs, Northampton lost three-wicket within 30 runs, at one time it seemed that Northampton would not lose this match. In the last, Taylor finished the innings with a four towards the fine leg and Northamptonshire easily won the match by 4 wickets.

On the other hand, Durham would be happy with their bowling effort they kept bowling the tight lines in the powerplay and didn't let batters get over them Andrew Tye was the standout performer for Durham, he took 3 wickets and gave just 28 runs off his 4 overs. Coughlin, Carse, and Borthwick took a wicket each.

Earlier in the day, they would be disappointed with their performance. They lost two early wickets in the powerplay then Clark and Bedingham stitched a partnership of 41 runs for the third wicket. Bedingham got run out after scoring 20 runs. Then the wickets started tumbling down Durham Dynamos and they kept on losing wickets. Clark was the highest scorer for Durham he scored 44 runs off 34 balls.
