We come to conclusion here as this has been a brighter day for Somerset who wins this and a lot to work for the Hampshire team. This is Nikhil Kalla Signing off on behalf of my co-commentators Ovaise and Ninaad and our scorer/analyst Chandan. Stay tuned for more live-action tomorrow until then take care and enjoy.

NIKHIL: We are done here at Southampton, Somerset has come out on top against Hampshire as they win by 4 wickets while chasing down 124.

Hampshire team scored a total of 123 runs in the quota of 20 overs as they got bundled out on the last delivery of their innings.

James Fuller was the only one who could get going for them as he scored 42 runs in no time to help his team achieve what they achieved in 123 runs on the board. Somerset bowlers chipped in with wickets on a regular basis, Davey being their standout bowler with 3 dismissals alongside Gregory, Green, and De Lange who took 2 each.

When the Somerset side came into bat they had just one aim and that was to finish this soon as they scored 55 in the powerplay. The dynamic duo of Banton and Smeed scored quickly and freely followed by a good quick-fire cameo by Rossouw. Hampshire team pulled back a bit with some quickfire wickets in the middle of the innings but the score was too little to defend for them after the start they had from the openers.

Fuller was the only bright side from this game for the Hampshire team as he scored 42 and adding to it, he took 2 wickets that helped in a mini fightback at that moment.

Somerset looks such a unit this season with Smeed, Banton, and Rossouw up front adding De Lange who can do everything that is there in the game to be done.

15.5 N Ellis to B Green
1 Short delivery! Green pulls this to deep fine leg and collects a single which takes Somerset to yet another victory over Hampshire! A commanding win by the visitors!
15.4 N Ellis to R van
1 The scores are level. Full on the fifth stump line. van der Merwe drives on the front foot and gets it away through the covers. Single taken to level the score as the ball is being fielded in the deep.

15.3 N Ellis to T Lammonby
W Edged and taken! Similar delivery, pitched a bit up on the good length around the off stump. Good pace on this occasion, Lammonby pushses forward and gets an outside edge which carries to McDermott behind the stumps! The Aussie duo of Ellis and McDermott strike! But it is little too late for Hampshire I guess.
15.2 N Ellis to T Lammonby
0 Beats the outside edge and cuts him in half! Slightly short of a length and very close to the off stump, the ball jags back in after pitching as Lammonby is beaten trying to push forward.
15.1 N Ellis to B Green
1b Short delivery outside the off stump, Green tries to work this to third man but misses. McDermott fumbles behind the stumps and allows a bye to be taken.

14.6 C Wood to T Lammonby
6 SIX!! Follows that up with a maximum! This is heaved over midwicket fence for a biggie! Somerset are a hit away from victory. Gets a half volley outside the off stump, covers his off stump and picks it up nicely off the front foot, right off the middle of the bat!
14.5 C Wood to T Lammonby
4 FOURR!! Goes over the top on this occasion! Four more!! Full again and closer to the off stump, gets on the front foot and smacks this right over the top of mid off! Couple of bounces and the ball goes past over the boundary cushion.
14.4 C Wood to T Lammonby
4 FOUR!! Mid off and mid on are up in the circle. Lammonby uses this to good effect as he charges down the track, gets himself some room and drives this full and wide delivery through extra cover and mid off for four! Excellent placement and timing as the ball races away to the boundary!
14.3 C Wood to B Green
1 Short delivery pitched outside leg. Times it well and pulls behind square in the leg side. Deep backward square runs to his right and gets to the ball, just a single taken.
14.2 C Wood to T Lammonby
1 Fuller delivery on the fourth stump, angling in. Lammonny drives on the front foot to mid off and gets off strike with another quick single.
14.1 C Wood to B Green
1 Fuller delivery from over the wicket, nudged in the leg side with a straight bat and collects a single as Wood fields off his own bowling.
Over to Ninaad for the final 6 overs
