That's it from today folks! This is Saiprasad, signing off on behalf of my co-commentators Shashank, Ovaise and our scorer / analyst Yogesh! See you on the next one!
Leicestershire will face off against Yorkshire at Leeds tomorrow and Derbyshire will have some good rest before their next match on Tuesday night, as they host Yorkshire at Derby.
Player of the Match: Shan Masood [ 53(43) (4s-4/6s-0) ]
Review: Saiprasad: And that brings us to the end of the game between Derbyshire vs Leicestershire. In the end, Derbyshire won the match by huge 70 runs. After setting a decent total of 160 runs, Derbyshire looked quite confident that they will defend the total with their bowling attack.

Leicestershire lost their first wicket in the first over of their innings itself. Scott Steel got clean bowled by Hayden Kerr with his straight and length delivery right on the stumps. After that in the second over itself, Leicestershire lost their second wicket of Hamish Rutherford as he got stuck in front of the stumps for LBW. Thus, in the powerplay, they lost 4 important wickets including their captain Colin Ackerman in single digits. Leicestershire's 8 batters got dismissed in single-digit scores.

However, from the bowling department, Each and every bowler from Derbyshire picked up at least 1 wicket in tonight's game. Hayden Kerr and Mattie McKiernan were their star bowler throughout the second innings as they picked up 2 wickets each and maintained their economy at 4.0 and 5.7 respectively.

Both the teams have their next game against Yorkshire and at Leeds stadium. Currently, Derbyshire shifts to 3rd place and Leicestershire remains at the bottom place in the points table and Yorkshire stands at 2nd place without losing any game so far i.e 1 win and 1 tied game.
George Scrimshaw: " It was bit frustrating to stay out with my injuries and I have been doing well recently recovering and coming back strong. Yeah the coaches have been really good and we have shown it with our bowling performance today, I have a pretty set game plan to take wickets in whichever phases I bowl in and we were really good in all phases of the game. yesterday we had to depend on an individual performance and we wanted to set a mark today and we did it really well."
Colin Ackermann (Losing captain): "It was a tough day today for us in the field, I think we bowled well especially our spinners but we just couldn't get a good enough start and were poor with some of our dismissals today, our batting has been a really big concern this season as we haven't been able to stitch partnerships and we haven't putting up enough runs, we will be trying to come up with a better performance tomorrow against Yorkshire."
Shan Masood (Winning Captain and Man of the Match): "We were clinical in many ways we were 20 runs short but  got to a par score, we had to bowl really well, got quick wickets with our bowlers doing a good job in the early part. We were smart in places as we build some partnership after suffering a early setback, we went about our batting well and got to a par score. Our bowlers did a remarkable job especially our spinners who got the job done. We were poor yesterday with our batting and I realized to stay till the end take it deep till the 15th-16th over today, I try to stay calm and bat with good intent and really enjoying my batting this season."
15.3 H Kerr to N ul
W WICKETTTTT!!! ITS ALL OVER HERE!! Kerr bangs it in short and bit wide and Naveen tries to blast it out of the park as he skies it high and straight and Madsen settles down under the ball near wide Long on and takes a simple catch under his throat. First wicket of the day for the Aussie import. Falcons have rolled over the foxes here at Grace Road as they take the match by 70 runs.
15.2 H Kerr to N ul
0 Briliant good length delivery bit slower, dropped at length and into the pads of the batsman who has no clue about it as he pads it back to the bowler.
15.1 H Kerr to B Mike
1 Short and around off, slapped towards extra cover for a single.
