Thatโ€™s a wrap from our side as well. The 26th match of the Hundred Men's is done and dusted and Welsh fire are yet to open their victory account and this is their continuous seventh defeat.

Thank you for joining us from all around the globe. This is Deepak Prakash signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Arijit Kundu and Scorer / Analyst Chandan Kumar Singh. Do join us for the other fixtures across the globe until then Ta-Ta, Bye-Bye.
Faf du Plessis: "On such a wicket you are not sure about to bat first or bowl first. Lyth is in the form at the moment, in the purple patch. I think he is in his space, not thinking too much and just hitting the ball after watching it. Really nice that he is using his form and making that count for the team.

The chat between us was to see the first 6-8 balls and see what the condition has. I think it was Lyth who got that big over down and I think once we got the partnership on, we were all set for the chase..

I think this wasn't the pitch you see too often in The Hundred. But you gotta adapt you can't just say that I'm gonna bat on the 160 wickets always."
Adam Lyth (Player of the match): "Yeah nice to get the team help go over the line. It would be better if I could do it on my own till the end. Oh no I think, we got the best of the conditions and will look to get some more in the next few games. Thank you!!"
Player of the Match: Adam Lyth

Deepak: That concludes the 26th game of Menโ€™s Hundred between Welsh Fire and Northern Superchargers where Northern Superchargers thumped Welsh Fire by 6 wickets. From the Supercharger's side, we got to see the sight of smoky batting from the very beginning. Welsh Fire is still not able to open their winning account.

Superchargers came out to chase down 115 runs and started their inning fearlessly as they were able to score 42 runs without losing any wicket in the powerplay. Adam Lyth had taken bowlers on remand from the beginning. Faf du Plessis and Adam Lyth added 75 runs for the first wicket as Adam Lyth fell just 3 runs short of his half-century and departed scoring 47 runs off 34 balls and was soon joined by the Skipper Faf who scored 32 runs off 24 balls and got out on 59th ball of the inning.

Northern Superchargers lost a couple of wickets in quick succession in the end but by then it was too late for Welsh Fire.

On the other hand, Ish Sodhi was the pick of the bowler for the Welsh Fire as he picked up 2 wickets giving away just 14 runs in his 20 balls quota. Matthew Critchley picked up one wicket.

91b D Payne to D Willey
4 FOURRR!! Well, this time Willey finishes things in his own way!! Short and wide from Payne and the batter slashes at it with a flat bat approach and the gets a boundary behind the square of wicket on the offside. End to a mini hustle between him and the bowlers of the opposition. The fielder at backward point dived to his sideways but all in vain as the spherical cork flashed towards the fences in haste.
There's something uncanny here with Willey!

90b J Ball to D Willey
1 Slower one into the strip, and the batter bunts it down once again, of the top half of the blade. This one goes towards mid on and the duo scampers for a single.
89b J Ball to D Willey
0 Well, Willey is on a defensive mode here and has defended three balls on a row. Just four runs needed and the southpaw isn't even changing the strike.
88b J Ball to D Willey
0 Short of a length stuff at the body of the batter and the latter bunts it down to the strip, right on top of the bounce this time.
87b J Ball to D Willey
0 Length delivery over the mdidle and off and the batter drags the bat inside the line and nabs it down.
86b J Ball to D Willey
0 A dot ball here this time to start off the set from Jake Ball. Looks for a sway but misses this one here.

0 Length and away from the batter who sways and misses this!! this one zips of the surface rapidly  and therefore misses on it.

84b M Critchley to A Hose
W GOneee!! Into the pads and blows the zing bells here. On the hard length nips back in and the batter at the backfoot looks to whip and misses it on the inside edge. An unlucky dismissal for Hose and he has to walk back towards the pavilion.
83b M Critchley to A Hose
4 FOURR!! Leg break again and outside the off. Hose reverse sweeps this one and the ball traverses finer of the short 3rd man region towards the fences.  Some fancy shot here and this one  has been executed tremendously well.
