Thank you for joining in for the live coverage of the 16th Game of the Hundred between Manchester Originals and the Welsh Fire. This was Vatsal Negandhi alongside Ovaise Shariff and our scorer/analyst Zeeshan Naiyer. Stay tuned as we bring you more games across the globe, till then stay safe and take care!
Sean Abbott (man of the match): "It's obviously not the start we were looking for but we came out and executed today. Mitch Stanley really set the tone with the ball. We would have liked more runs on the board but we knew tonight that the pitch was going to take a bit of spin and some pace-off, so we knew it would be tough to bat on this pitch. The conversations we've had in the changing rooms have been great but personally, I've not gone out. Pretty good performance from everyone tonight. Happy to get the first points on the board."

Vatsal: A Thumping Win for Manchester Originals as they beat the Welsh Fire by 47 runs to get their 1st win of the season.

The Manchester Originals having put into Bat 1st got off to an excellent start courtesy of Buttler and Salt who raced off to 51 in the powerplay. The duo put on 66 for the 1st wicket. Salt went for 38 off 22 balls and Madsen was out soon after for 10. Buttler departed soon after for 29 off 17 deliveries. The middle order crumbled for Originals as they lost 6 for 63. Russell(17), Stubbs(13), Walter(13), and Hartley with 15* at the end got them to 149 for 9 in their 100 balls.

Welsh Fire was good with the ball after the powerplay. Zampa was the pick of the bowler with 2-17 in 20 balls and was well supported by Pretorius with 2-30 and J Ball with 4-29 in their respective 20 balls to keep the Originals to 149.

Chasing 150, Welsh Fire got off to a poor start losing Clarke, Banton, and Hain early. Duckett played some good shots but was dismissed for 25. D Pretorius played a handy cameo of 29 in the end but did not get the support from other batters as the Welsh crumbled for 102 in 89 balls.

The Originals' bowling was brilliant from the beginning. Stanley set the tone with a wicket. Hartley, Parkinson, and Russell got one a piece. Stubbs bowled nicely to get 2 wickets in the middle. The Star of the show was Sean Abbott who got 4 for 8 in 15 balls and bowled out the Welsh Fire for 102. A complete performance by the Manchester Originals.
89b Parkinson to D Pretorius
W CAUGHT!! The last nail in the coffin!! Pretorius tries to slog this floated delivery by Parkinson, He doesn't get the desired connection and finds T Stubbs at deep mid-wicket who takes a brilliant catch!! Welsh Fire have bundled out for 102 after playing 89 balls!!
88b Parkinson to D Pretorius
4 FOURRR!!! Short and wide, dragged down by Parkinson, Pretorius cuts it away for a brilliant boundary wide of the sweeper covers fielder.

0 Short and wide of the off stump, Ball pushes it away with soft hands. Dot ball.
81b Abbott to D Payne
W Slower short ball, Payne moves across his stumps and tries to paddle it over the keeper but misses out and is lazy in getting back into the crease!! Great work by Salt who had the presence of mind to hit the stumps!! Disastrous for Welsh Fire. Lazy stuff by David Payne! The umpires have given this as a stumping not a run out!!
