Well that's it for today folks. I am Anirudh, signing off with my co-commentator Ninaad and our scorer / analyst Paras. It was our pleasure to bring you the live ball-by-ball coverage of this match, see you on the next one!
Jordan Thompson: "A great night for us, we batted well to get to that score and we bowled well the last time and tonight as well. We tried to keep it away from their batters and obviously got the wickets to help us win the tournament. 160 felt enough because the boys came in and said that the pitch was a bit tricky but ultimately we got to a decent total and defended it well. It's good to come down the London and begin the season with 2 wins, we hope to continue that."
Jordan Thompson is the Hero of the Match.
And with that London Spirit complete a dominant victory over Manchester Originals. They defeat Manchester Originals by a huge margin of 52 runs. A crushing defeat for Jos Buttler and co today, and his team have a lot to think about.

The first innings was dominated by a constant flow of boundaries, and when you have got Maxwell, Morgan and Pollard in your batting lineup, nothing is impossible. Abbott trapped Rossington early for a golden duck and Manchester looked to be ahead of the game. However, Zak Crawley held up his end of the things, eventually scoring 41 runs off 34 balls, and he was well supported by explosive cameos by Glenn Maxwell, Eoin Morgan and Kieron Pollard.

Maxwell got the run rate going with 21 runs from 15 balls, while the former England skipper reminded us of his heydays by scoring 37 runs off 26 balls. But it was the big man from the Caribbean who smashed 34 runs from 11 balls to take his team to a total of 160/6 from their 100 deliveries.

The chase looked difficult but not impossible considering the presence of Jos Buttler and Phil Salt at top and Russell in the middle. But their batting lineup didn't fire, as regular wickets throughout the innings meant, Manchester Originals never got going or challenged London Spirit.

The pick of the bowlers was Jordan Thompson who picked up a sensational 4/21 from his 20 balls. While Dawson and Woods chipped in with 2 wickets each. A comfortable win for London Spirit in the end.

2 victories from 2 matches means London Spirit now top the table and they will be ecstatic to get off to such a brilliant start!
98b M Crane to Parkinson
W Guides this to backward point and its all over! Fuller delivery outside the off stump. Parkinson gets room outside off and opens the face of the bat to carve this through the off side but lofts this straight to Jordan Thompson at backward point! A simple catch and it's all over for Manchester Originals! London Spirit take the game home by 52 runs!
97b M Crane to Parkinson
0 52mph. Too full on the off stump, drifting in. Goes for the slog sweep again but gets no timing off the bottom of the bat.
96b M Crane to Parkinson
6 Parkinson hits it big first ball! Definitely would be preferred to bat up in the order! Over the wicket, half volley a shade outside the off stump. Gets down on a knee and plays the perfect slog sweep over the midwicket fence for six!

95b C Wood to F Klaassen
W Edged and taken! Excellent catch from Rossington diving away to his right. Good length delivery pitched outside the off stump pushed across. Klaassen fails to move his feet and follows the ball looking to hit through the covers, gets a nick and Rossington does the rest behind the stumps!
94b C Wood to T Hartley
1 Back of a length angled in on the off stump, plays into the ground in the off side. Wood collects off his own bowling.
93b C Wood to T Hartley
0 Shorter and outside the off stump. Goes for the pull but misses.
93b C Wood to T Hartley
WD 75mph. Short of a length, slower in pace and pushed too wide outside off.
92b C Wood to T Hartley
0 Good length outside the off stump. Comes down the wicket to heave over covers but misses.
91b C Wood to T Hartley
2 100 runs up for Originals. Fuller delivery outside off. Hits high in the air towards the long on region off the lower part of the bat. Thompson comes in running and dives forward but drops the catch.
