That's all from us!! We have been thrilled to an exciting cricket of 200 balls. The Phoenix continue their winning ways and sit on top of the table, with this close victory they continue their invincibility with 3 wins out of 3. The men's game is up next, make sure to join in for that. Until then this is Shashank Surly signing off along with my co-commentator Akshay Bhide and our scorer Paras Yadav. ta ta!!
Sophie Molineux | Hero of the Match: "It was a great game. The crowd really got into the game and we held our nerves to finish on the winning side. We heard everyone present on the ground in the last few overs. It’s a great competition and I’m very lucky to play in it. The process is interesting. I try to stick to my plans and execute those. Control my breath and keep calm. The openers were awesome at the top. It was a fresh wicket and they did very well to get us to a solid start. We are in great spirits. I’m loving my time in this group of girls and looking forward to the next games."

Sophie Molineux is the Hero of the Match.
WOOW!! WHAT A GAME OF CRICKET WE HAVE WITNESSED!! The Birmingham Phoenix, showed nerves of steel and come out on top by 5 runs. Both teams fought hard, but one team had to fall in the end and that was sadly the Northern Superchargers.

Northern Supercharges won the toss and opted to field. All the Birmingham Phoenix batters contributed with the bat, Amy Jones was the only player to make a substantial score of 48 off 28. The Phoenix posted a great score of 153 and were in advantage at the first half.

Alyssa Healy got the superchargers off to a flyer, with a sensational 46 off 28 balls. The opening stand off 64 was ended by Sophie Molineux who got Healy stumped. Gaby Lewis struggled to get going and was out later.

Laura Wolvaardt (32 off 24) and Hollie Armitage (31 off 19) held the innings and were taking it down to the wire. But the Phoenix bowlers dried the runs out in the end to take cvoctory.

Sophie Molineux was the star of the show with both bat and ball, producing her magic yet again in a nail-baiting finish. First added a 13-ball-24 cameo and then was on a completely different level with the ball in hand. Bowled 10 dot balls in a row, got the crucial wickets of Healy an Wolvaardt.

Georgia Elwiss, Emily Arlott and Abtaha Maqsood also chipped in with the wickets and Elyse Perry's handy 22 and proficient athleticism in the field was a real game changer.

100b G Elwiss to J Gunn
2 Fuller on the stumps, Gunn heaves it into the leg side and comes back for the second. That's not enough as the Northern Superchargers fall short by five runs. A clinical win for the Birmingham Phoenix as they go to the top of the table.
99b G Elwiss to J Gunn
4 Back-to-back boundaries for Gunn. Elwiss bowls it on a length on the stumps, Gunn lifts it wide of long on and the fielder in the deep goes for the catch but fails to reach it. She fails to get her body behind it and it results in a boundary.
98b G Elwiss to J Gunn
4 FOUR!!!! Splits the gap perfectly. Elwiss bowls right in the slot on the pads, Gunn heaves it into the leg side and picks out the gap between deep mid wicket and deep square leg to find a boundary.
97b G Elwiss to J Gunn
2 A full toss on the pads, Gunn slogs it in the leg side and opens her account with a couple of runs.
96b G Elwiss to H Armitage
W Holes out in the deep. It's Ellyse Perry again. Shorter in length around off, Armitage sits back and pulls it hard and Perry from deep mid wicket runs to her left and takes an outstanding catch. She is delighted and that should be the game for the home side. End of a good cameo from Armitage. She departs on 31. 18 required from 4 now.
18 needed from the final set of the match.

95b S Molineux to H Armitage
0 Quicker and shorter on the stumps, Armitage steps out and looks to pull it but misses. Jones fails to collect it cleanly and Armitage gets back in the crease in time.
94b S Molineux to H Armitage
2 Dropped!!! Flighted delivery outside off, Armitage lifts it in the off side and but doesn't get it off the middle of the bat as Elwiss at extra covers runs back and tries to grab it with a reverse cup but shells it. Two runs completed.
93b S Molineux to Richards
1 On a length outside off, Richards reverse sweeps it fine to the left of short third for a run.
