That's it from this mouth-watering clash. I am AkshayaKrishna Polya signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Arijit Kundu, who alongside our scorer/analyst Chandan Kumar Singh brought you all the live actions from this match.

Do stay tuned to our websites and apps for matches around the globe. We will meet in the next match. Until then, it's cheers!
Sophie Devine (Birmingham Phoenix captain): "Yeah that was great. Music blasting here, and gotta enjoy that. Meeting people here and I think, Ellyse was exceptional. We got a good total on the board and everyone chipped in. I think she (on Ellyse Perry) was a bit of nervous as she couldn't play in the World Cup in New Zealand.

To be fair, it's pretty similar, just a couple of balls less (On the Hundred). See the ball hit the ball, it was about keeping things really simple. Look, it was quick, I was surprised that how quick the ball was at times. They really had good ownership in the field. We always know, we wanna win away games. We have a couple of games in Edgbaston now at home, and eager for that. Thank You."
Player of the Match: Ellyse Perry
Elysse Perry (Player of the match): "Yeah, it's a lot of fun, getting the chance to watch Sophie Devine bat, it was really good. I thought in the chase, Welsh Fire was a good and were really great at the chase in the initial part. Yeah, its a lot of fun, looking for more such excting games. We are looking for the rest of the matches. We have some exceptional support stuff, Sophie Molienux also, same team member for the national side, got some wonderful support from the organisation and the fans."
Akshaya: 9:33 PM IST! Birmingham Phoenix dominated Welsh Fire for most of the match, and they did well to clinch a 19-run win from it.

Chasing a target of 162, Welsh Fire needed their openers to fire and Hayley Matthews and skipper Tammy Beaumont provided that with a solid 47-run stand. However, once Matthews departed after scoring a brisk 20, it was Rachel Haynes, who played a few big shots but couldn't last long.

Annabel Sutherland (34 off 21) and Beaumont (39 off 34) steadied the sinking ship as the duo added a partnership of 31 runs for the third wicket before the latter fell prey to a smart piece of bowling from Sophie Devine.

Sutherland, who came under pressure to increase the required run rate, failed to clear the mid-wicket fence as she holed out to Ellyse Perry off Georgia Elwiss. Fran Wilson (20 off 12) did try her bit, but with a mountain to climb, she couldn't take her team over the line.

In the end, Fi Morris and Katie George found it hard to put the bat on the ball, with the Welsh Fire finishing up at the score of 142/5 in their set of 100 balls.

For the Birmingham-based franchise, Issy Wong didn't get any wickets but she did bamboozle the batters with her change-ups. Elwiss picked two wickets while Devine and Maqsood scalped a wicket each.

Earlier, Welsh Fire won the toss and invited Phoenix to have a bat first. Skipper Sophie Devine (48 off 25) took the Fire bowlers to the cleaners and provided the team with a great platform despite losing two early wickets.

Devine stitched a partnership of 46 runs for the third wicket alongside Ellyse Perry, who was playing a game after a long break. Perry slammed 58 off 31 deliveries, including ten boundaries.

In the end overs, a few wickets fell, putting a break on the run-scoring ability of the lower-order batters. Sophie Milenoux was unbeaten on run-a-ball 29 while Arlott played a quick cameo of 12 from 7 deliveries and remained unbeaten, helping the side to post 161/5 at the end of their 100 balls.

For the bowling side, Claire Nicholas scalped a couple of wickets, while Alex Hartley, Hayley Matthews and Katie George picked a wicket each!

100b S Molineux to F Morris
1 A single to end the innings and here comes the winning way for the Birmingham Phoenix. Full and down the leg peg, and the batter takes a short stride forward and reverse sweeps this one towards the fielder at short 3rd man. Single taken this time, and Sophie Devine leads her team with a victory in the tournament. Birmingham Phoenix wins the game by a margin of 19 runs.
99b S Molineux to George
1 Two more balls to go and this time another fuller one near the off and the batter works it down the ground to long off for a single.
98b S Molineux to F Morris
1 Fuller and much straighter at the woods and the batter drills this towards widish long on for a single now.
97b S Molineux to George
1 A single takern as the bowler dishes this outside the off and George shimmies down the ground and works it past the extra cover region.
96b S Molineux to F Morris
1 Looks to reverse sweep this one and gets a single towards short 3rd man. A fuller one from the bowler.

Third umpire checks for the run-out. And Wilson is short of her crease irrespective of her big dive.
95b G Elwiss to George
1W Slower one on a length near the off and the batter waits for it and turns across the line with a horizontal blade approach. This one races slowly towards the deep mid wicket region and the duo runs hard for a couple. Wilson wanted twice and therefore scampered for two. George was the one at the non striker who fell in the ground by losing her poise and therefore Wilson who was halfway through the 22 yards for the second run, had to run back again. The keeper dislodged the bails in the time and despite a dive Wilson needed to walk towards the pavilion.
94b G Elwiss to George
0 Fuller length delivery on the fourth stump line. George on the front foot drills it to the left of the bowler, who dives and stops that from going past her.
93b G Elwiss to F Wilson
1 Fuller and slower and the batter works it past the long on region for a single.
