The celebrations begin. Everybody wants to put their hands on the cup. Indian have done it. The support staff joins them for the celebration. That's it from us, This is me Ovaise Shariff signing off on behalf of my fellow commentators Saket and Badal.

Do join us for all the coverage from the other games around the globe. Good Night and Stay Safe!
Yash Dhull | India captain: Proud moment for India, that we have managed to achieve this. It was difficult at the start to get the combination right. but as time went we became a family and the team atmosphere was good. Great moment to be playing under this lot of support staff.
Now time for India to collect their winners medals from Curtly Ambrose
Dewald Brevis is the Player of the tournament
Raj Bawa | Player of the Match: Always feels special to win any game, but to do it in the final is a great feeling. Just went out to execute the plans we discussed with the coach and captain.
The Indian team are doing a lap of honour around the ground. Presentations coming up shortly. Stay tuned!
Ravi Kumar: Coaches kept telling me to do the basics and not worry about the results. The plan was to maintain tight line and length. The ball was sticking a bit and wanted to bowl full to get some movement. My favorite wicket today was the first wicket of the game was Bethell.
Shaik Rasheed: Feeling great. Don't have words. Just wanted to rotate singles. Wanted to play my normal game.
VVS Laxman: Firstly, huge congratulations to the selection committee, because it was a new selection committee and it was quite challenging for them to identify this group and after that I think it's the coaching staff with Hrishikesh as the head coach, Sairaj Munish Bali and all the support staff. The way they brought this group together, they worked really hard and won the Asia Cup and the preparation to this World Cup was fantastic. In the middle of the tournament, we all know what happened to the boys, to test positive but to show that kind of resilience and positive attitude is exemplary. I think BCCI has to be complemented, the number of tournaments each age group players get to play, but unfortunately over the last two years because of Covid they didn't play any tournament and that's why this win is very special. It is just a learning process and everyone understands that in the group, Exciting times for all of them.
Kanitkar, India coach: We were looking to bat first as well. But there was some moisture so we thought to make use of that. He has a good head on his shoulders. It's a fabulous competition getting this stage to perform, to showcase talent.

India got off to a dream start getting early wickets and utilizing the damp conditions. After a magnificent effort from Raj Bawa who got 5/31 and fellow pacer Ravi Kumar who finished with 4-34 in his 9overs. Together, they unleashed destruction from the get-go as England were diminished to 91/7. By then the game looked done and dusted but England were kept alive is by a major exertion from James Rew who stood tall in the midst all the chaos at the other end to make 95. He was helped by James Sales in an eighth-wicket stand worth 93 which even raised any expectations of a score north of 200. Yet, Bawa and Kumar got back to take the last three wickets in a rush as England were bowled out for 189 on the board. There's some assistance in the pitch for both pace and spin. The Indian team was delighted as they strolled off the field after the end of the first innings. They required 190 to win the trophy.

England on the other hand got off to an excellent start in the second innings, Joshua Boyden providing the early breakthrough by getting the wicket of Angkrish Raghuvanshi who has looked good throughout the tournament. Shaik Rasheed and Harnoor put on a good partnership that took the game away from England. The pitch looked to have dried up very well in the second innings with the sun beating down, and stroke-making was slightly earlier compared to the first innings.

England came back in the game with Harnoor’s wicket but India rebuilt the innings with Rashid and Dhull putting up a good partnership. Rasheed lost his concentration after getting to his 50 which came of 84 balls. Dhull followed him later in the next over by hitting one down the throat of the deep square leg fielder. England were right back in the game at the back of that wicket, but Sandhu and Bawa rescued India by stitching up a magnificent partnership. Bawa put up a man-of-the-match performance with ball in the first innings and should the grit and determination with the bat in the second innings, but got out when India were very close to winning it. Sindhu finished the innings with a brilliant 50 of 54 which came under a lot of pressure, Dinesh Bawa hits the winning runs.

The Indian U-19 team has done it, they have been crowned as the Champions of the ICC under 19 World Cup, 2022.
