With this, we would like to bid adios. This is me, Arjun Bhalla signing off on the behalf of my colleagues - Anurag Dasgupta and Vishnu Verma (Scorer).
Arjun: It was a sensational effort by Ollie Pope, Sam Curran and Jordan Clark that helped Surrey seal a great win over Glamorgan. The chase could have been tricky if the fielding unit could have kept the Surrey under the pump after an early burst. However, it wasn’t meant to be.

Michael Hogan came all guns blazing as they first took Jason Roy and then swallowed Will Jacks in a space of three balls, and in no time, Laurie Evans was sent packing.

However, Pope didn’t shy away from the challenge. He first rotated the strike and then used his prowess to smoke boundaries on will. The right-handed batter was well supported by S Curran and Clark as they never allow Glamorgan to come back into the game.

The RRR was always kept under count as over 9 runs were scored in each over. And as a result, the chasing team ended the game with a ball remaining.

Earlier in the day Surrey won the toss and decided to bowl first. Glamorgan didn't get the desired start as they lost David Lloyd for 3 runs, in came Labuschagne who did steady the ship for a while but ended up throwing his wicket after a quickfire 27-run stand with Sam Northeast.

Despite losing the wicket of Kiran Carlson, Northeast stood like a monk and completed his half-century. He was amply supported by Chris Cooke, who scored a blistering 27-ball 46 and was the aggressor in the partnership.

In the end, whacking by Northeast and Cooke didn’t help Glamorgan at all as a challenging target of 174 wasn’t enough for them.

19.5 M Neser to J Overton
2 Surrey have won the game!! What a game we have witnessed. Full on the stumps. Overton slogs it down to long on and gets an easy couple to seal the deal.
19.4 M Neser to C Jordan
1 Nails the yorker to perfection. Right in the blockhole and Jordan digs it towards covers for a quick run.
19.3 M Neser to C Jordan
2 Misfield and a couple taken. Short and wide, Jordan cuts it towards deep cover and a fumble allows him to steal a second.
19.2 M Neser to J Overton
1 Slower and fuller on the off. Overton shuffles across and flicks it to mid wicket for a run.
19.1 M Neser to J Overton
2 Overton goes through with his pull. He places it down to deep backward square for a couple.

18.6 M Hogan to C Jordan
0 What an over from Hogan! Terrific stuff under pressure. Full, outside the off. Jordan can't get a bat to it.
18.5 M Hogan to C Jordan
0 Pressure building on Surrey. Goes through with his pull and misses the connection.

18.4 M Hogan to J Clark
W Another one bites the dust!! Hogan is the man of the hour for Glamorgan. He bangs it short and peppers the batter with it. Clark slogs and couldn't get the desrired distance. The fielder from deep mid moves to his left and gobbles it cleanly.
18.3 M Hogan to J Overton
1 Cut away nicely for a single. Overton stays back and cuts the good length ball to deep cover.

18.2 M Hogan to O Pope
W Top-edge and the fielder at backward point grabs it! Is there a twist in the tale? Pope was almost half-way down the track and Hogan bumps it short. He goes through with his pull and gets a top-edge on it. The ball was in the air for a while and the fielder grabbed it safely in the end.
18.1 M Hogan to O Pope
0 Dot ball! Pope dances down the track and looks to flay the full toss. He can't get a bat to it.
