2:10 AM IST | Ovaise: Gloucestershire have won by 41 runs!! The home crowd was magnificent throughout this game, every run was cheered and their team put up a brilliant performance and were the well-deserved winners in today's contest.

Sussex won the toss and opted to bowl first, it was a good decision as they early breakthrough due to a mix up in the middle. Miles Hammond was disappointed to make his way back after getting run out, his opening partner looked in some fabulous touch, and Bracey announced himself with his second t20 fifty. It was an absolutely stunning knock, he was hitting through the line and timing the balls to perfection.

Bracey kept losing partners from the opposite end before Glenn Phillips joined him and together the pair hammered the bowlers all around the park. Phillips was dismissed in the 12th over and Ryan Higgins walked out to the middle and tonked a few and along with the lower order took his team past the 190 run mark. Gloucestershire kept looking for wickets at regular intervals but they managed to keep the run rate high. This is a challenging total and Sussex have to do well to chase this massive score down.

The pitch was quite flat and the ball was coming onto the bat very well, Mohammad Rizwan and veteran Luke Wright came out to open the batting and took Sussex off to a flying start, making full use of the powerplay. Rizwan and Wright were severe on anything short and wide, the ball was rocketed towards the boundary line as the outfield was extremely quick. The crowd were on their feet in the Jack Russell stand and backed their side throughout the game.

Luke Wright was dismissed on the second last ball of the powerplay, and the Australian prodigy Josh Phillippe walked out into the middle and joined Mohammad Rizwan, together they stitched a wonderful partnership and took Sussex past the 100 runs mark. On the first ball of the 16th over when Sussex were looking on track to change this one down, they lost Mohammad Rizwan. It was a HUGE wicket in the context of the game. It was a downslide for Sussex from there, as Naseem Shah dismantled the lower order, Bopara didn't trouble the scorers much and Sussex collapsed and fell short of 41 runs.

1 Full toss on the stumps, Crocombe hits it straight to the long-on fielder for a single. Sussex accelerated very late and they would be disappointed not to have attacked earlier.
19.5 Meekeren to Ward
W Slower off-cutter, banged in short into the pitch, Ward throws the kitchen sink at it and miss-hits it straight down the throat of the deep mid-wicket fielder. We are having the last rights read. It's almost done and dusted.
19.4 Meekeren to Ward
0 Length delivery, on the stumps, Ward swings hard and gets the toes ends it back towards the bowler. Dot ball.
19.3 Meekeren to Ward
2 SLower off-cutter, was a back of a length delivery, Ward pulls it away hand but falls short of the deep mid wicket fielder and the pair scamper through for a couple.
