So that's it from this match. It's adieus from me(AkshayaKrishna Polya) who was along Karthik and Anmol Ahuja as we brought you all the live actions from this entertaining game. For the matches all around the world stay tuned on our apps and websites. We will be back for the next match. Until then it's cheers...!
Daren Sammy, World Giants captain: " Tahir was magnificent in the end. Trott was just enjoying the show. We were expected to make this and our boys were excited. Yeah, rest for a couple of days. Much needed."
Naman Ojha, Legend of the match: " Yeah this was special. I mean it was great feeling to score a century in any format but in T20 it's really feels well as it is my favorite format. You need to back yourself to hit the ball here. I was hesitant before but today I played freely."
Mohammad Kaif, India Maharajas captain: "Thought we had the game in the end. We missed a few key players. I had to manage with a few part-timers. RP Singh went off due to an ankle injury. Imran Tahir was very calm. These are international players, so they made the difference. It was a tough pitch to bat on. Morkel was bowling well. Naman played fantastically well. We have a day off tomorrow. So, looking forward to that. It is tough as all of them are retired."
Imran Tahir: "First of all, congrats to Team India, they played really well. I am really pleased that I did something for the team. It's been brilliant, we have enjoyed it. I have had a great time with the legends around. We decided that I will take the strike and it worked."
Earlier, the Giants won the toss and opted to field first. The decision was the right one as Sidebottom shook the top order with his sharp bowling. He took two early wickets to push India Maharajas to 15/2 in just 1.3 overs. Jaffer and Badrinath were his victims as both went out for a duck. But then it was all India Maharajas. Naman Ojha and Mohammed Kaif took it to them as they blasted their way out with a partnership of 187 runs for the third wicket. That was some show from both of them and especially from the keeper batter. Ojha was in a mood as he belted the opposition bowlers all around the ground. He was magnificent with his century. 140 from 69 balls included 15 boundaries and nine massive sixes. Kaif was anchoring the innings as he was unbeaten on 53 from 47 balls. Yusuf Pathan finished the innings with a biggie, and that was the only ball faced by him today. They finished at 209/3 in 20 overs.  Sidebottom was impressive with his figures of 3-0-20-2. Another wicket to fall was taken by Morne Morkel.
Chasing 210 to win, the Giants didn't get to a flier as their opener Kevin O'Brien was out to a brilliant catch by the veteran Venugopal Rao at deep square leg. Jonathan Trott was retired hurt and Corey Anderson edged one to the keeper.  Kevin Pietersen once again was looking good but he too couldn't play much longer innings than he did. He played nicely for his 53 from 27 balls. He struck six massive maximums and 2 fours. Albie Morkel was undone by Venugopal Rao's flight as he stumped out cheaply. Haddin blistered a couple of sixes but his cameo of 21 from 13 balls was ended by Hemang Badani. Daren Sammy was dropped at 22 by Venugopal Rao who previously took a brilliant catch. But that didn't cost much as he was bowled by Munaf Patel for 28 from just 11 balls. They were 130/6 at this stage.

Imran Tahir, the veteran who always does it with the ball but this time he has to do with the bat as well. An unbeaten 52 from just 19 balls with three 4s and five 6s. Hats off man. Morne Morkel supported him with a gritty 21 runs. But it was all Tahir to be honest as he struck two massive lusty blows in the last over from Venugopal Rao to seal the deal in favor of Giants with three balls to go. They won the match by three wickets. Tahir was dropped three times by the India Maharajas fielders and had to pay for that. Munaf and Binny took two wickets each but couldn't stop the opposition from winning the game.

Though the Giants win this but they are still at the last place with 2 points from 2 matches. despite the loss Maharajas are at the top with 2 points from 2 matches.
What a finish by Tahir and they have won. What a way to finish this enthralling match. Six to finish by Tahir as he sprints with his celebration.
Kevin Pietersen: "Yesterday, he (Imran Tahir) walked off the field after getting out thinking how did I not hit that for a six. We will miss him as he is off to the PSL. I am fit, probably fitter than the playing days!"
