Milestone
That's it from the presentation and our side as well. This was Anmol Ahuja along with my fellow commentators Badal Pareek and Ajay Ahire. Until next time, take care..
Nazmul Islam, Man of the Match: "I would like to thank Allah for this achievement. There was help in the wicket for the spinners and I just stuck to my strengths. As far as my Celebration is concerned it has been inspired by the movie Pushpa."
Mahmudullah Riyad: "The wicket was fine and good to bat on. But I think we batted really bad. Doesn't get the start and lost out the way in the middle. Mortaza's comeback is a big boost for us. It wasn't a good team effort from us. Very disappointed today and now we have to regroup and need to discuss a lot specifically the batting."
Sunrisers win this by 7 wickets in the end, a rather comfortable victory. Not the easiest track to bat on but 100 was never going to be challenging enough. MGD needed wickets upfront but Sunrisers negated the new ball spell and cruised to this target in the end. They got to a decent start before Simmons departed for 21, Mithun was batting well but succumbed to Murad's left armers. Post that it was easy sailing as Anamul held one end and made run a ball 45. Ingram provided the desired finish and Bopara with the winning runs.

MGD needed spin arsenal in their ranks to contain Sunrisers but they fielded four fast bowlers in this game. A definite question on the selection tactics. Earlier in the day Sunrisers opted to bowl and made the most out of the conditions. Three wickets for Taskin Ahmed, two for Gazi and one for Hossain. Nazmul Islam was the pick of the bowlers though gave absolutely nothing away and bagged four wickets.

MGD loose their third game and are at the bottom of the points table. Still early days in the tournament but they will hope for a better performance as string of losses can really drain away your entire campaign. These two will  meet Sunrisers again in a few days time for the reverse fixture. Let's hope we get a more competitive game then. Off to the presentation now...

16.6 M Mortaza to R Bopara
1 Single, tucked away in front of square and Sunrisers win this by 7 wickets comfortably in the end.
16.5 M Mortaza to R Bopara
0 Short ball, well directed bouncer, Bopara shows no interest of playing at it, let's it pass.
16.4 M Mortaza to C Ingram
1 Wide and outside off stump, Ingram controls the cut stroke along the carpet, tries to come back for the second, will only be one.

16.3 M Mortaza to A Haque
W THATS OUT!!!! Trying to finish this off with a big hit, looses his wicket in the process. Steps down and tires to go down the wicket, gets a top edge, the ball skies in the air, the fielder takes a good catch back paddling, this was swirling in the air, good grab. Haque goes for a run a ball 45 and an excellent innings considering the circumstances.
16.2 M Mortaza to A Haque
0 Appeal!!!! Turned down, no interest from the umpire, the batter signals that he has inside edged this to the pads.
16.1 M Mortaza to C Ingram
1 Punched off the back foot, thick edge carries it to third man.
16.1 M Mortaza to C Ingram
WD Wide called, outside the tram line on the off side, just three needed now.
Time out!! Just 4 runs are needed now from 24 balls.
