That's it from match number five! Ninaad here bidding adios on behalf of Akshay Bhide, Badal Pareek and our scorer Zeeshan Naiyer! Stay tuned for more coverage from cricket across the globe! Stay safe and take care.
Mahmudullah: "There was a bit of moisture for the problems but they executed well enough. We bounced back strongly and it was a very good effort from the boys. Shuvogata Hom took the pressure off me. I wanted to bat normally but he got some big overs in the middle and he was outstanding with the bat and the ball. Rubel bowled really well upfront and came back with the wicket in the second spell. Murad bowled well at the death. Isuru got us the important wicket of Chris Gayle. We need to come back tomorrow and forget about this game."
Mahmudullah is the player of the match.
Shakib Al Hasan | Losing Captain: "I think we did well with the bat. The surface got better in the second half but we fell short by 10-15 runs. All the three day games have been low-scoring. We have a night game tomorrow. So, hopefully, we will score more. It is always tough when you are 10-3 while chasing but we all know what Mahmudullah and Russell are capable of. So we needed to be on their toes while defending it."
What a topsy turvy game of cricket we have witnessed here at Mirpur. A brilliant start to the second innings for Barishal picking up the top four batters for just 10 runs inside three overs. Shafiqul Islam bowled a brilliant opening spell getting two huge wickets of Tamim Iqbal and Shahzad. All the top four batters failed to score in double figures.

Skipper Mahmudullah with his run a ball 47 which included three fours and a maximum propelled the Dhaka team to get their first win of the tournament. He was dismissed by Shakib Al Hasan when the team required just a single run to seal the win.

He was joined by Shuvagat Hom (29 off 25) as the duo added 69 runs for the fifth wicket. Andre Russell added the finishing touches with 31 runs off 15 balls that included three fours and two sixes. Alzarri Joseph was also the wrecker in chief getting a couple of wickets with Shakib and DJ Bravo chipping in with a wicket each.

Barishal looked in complete control during the first half of the innings but Dhaka took complete control as the partnership between Mahmudullah and Shuvagata Hom progressed with having someone like Andre Russell to bat later down the order.

Presentation ceremony to follow.

17.2 Hasan to M Riyad
W Another soft dismissal. Pretty much the story of the entire match. A touch short on the stumps, Riyad rocks back and hits it straight to the man at covers. He wanted to go over him but ends up hitting it straight to Bravo.
17.1 Hasan to M Riyad
6 Six! Boom! Straight down the ground! Full length delivery on the stumps, Riyad dances down and goes over the head of the bowler for a maximum. He joins the party with a maximum.
