That's a wrap of our coverage of this clash between the Netherlands and England at Amstelveen. The visitors were just too strong for the hosts as they win the series 3-0 and there will be loads of learnings for this Dutch side going forward from this series. Do join us for all other cricketing action across the globe.

For now, this is me Ayan Chatterjee signing off on behalf of my esteemed co-commentators Samanvaya Sharma, and Saiprasad Kagne alongside our scorer/analyst Dushyant Madhukar Kumar, and Ghanendra. Until next time we meet again, stay safe, happy, and cool. Good night. TA-TA AND CHEERS!
So, Jos Buttler picks up his Player of the Series trophy and now is posing with the winners' trophy with the rest of the team. They deserve it England as they have been the better side head and shoulders above the top. The way they are playing, I will say watch out for them to come to the World Cups in the next 12-18 months.
Jos Buttler, England captain and Player of the Series: "We've played very well. Brilliant with the ball, good batting as well. There's a lot of cricket coming up which is very exciting, we have great depth in this squad, very excited. Great debut for Payne, Brydon Carse looks exciting and Salt is also been impressive. Thank you to the Barmy Army for traveling to Amsterdam."
Scott Edwards, Netherlands captain: "Some good learnings for the boys. Happy with my form, today was a harder wicket but England made it look easy. We looked to score about 280, but the wickets in the end, credit to England for keeping us down."
Jason Roy, Player of the Match: "Very chuffed to finish off on a high, send off the traveling fans well. We pride ourselves on playing well, the bowlers have been brilliant. It's a great benchmark but we have big tests coming up in the summer. Every new player looked like they'd played 50 games, they've enjoyed the atmosphere. The future is bright. The Netherlands is a great place to travel to, we should make a habit of it."
Time for the Post-Match Presentation Ceremony.
20:36 IST: A clinical performance from the reigning world champions as they have demolished the Netherlands here by 8 wickets with 119 balls to spare to win the 3-match series 3-0. A whitewash by the visitors and it was Jos the Boss Buttler hitting the winning runs to get the win. Buttler led the side today in the absence of Eoin Morgan out with a groin injury. The Dutch have been outplayed in all the facets of the game and although England dropped catches today, those were just minor blemishes on a perfect day for them.

Chasing 244 for the win, England got off to a rollicking start as expected from them. Jason Roy and Phil Salt were motoring along with Salt being the aggressor in his 49 off 30 balls. They put up 85 runs in the first powerplay before Meekeren gave something to cheer about to the Dutch by getting rid of Salt and Malan in the same over as England made 85-2 in the powerplay. Unfortunately, that was the only joy the Dutch had as it was the Jason Roy-Jos Buttler show from thereon. They put on an unbeaten breathtaking 163-run stand in just 121 balls to get to the target in just 30.1 overs. Jason Roy completed his 10th ODI hundred as he remained unbeaten on 101 off 86 balls with 15 boundaries to his name. Stand-in skipper Jos Buttler finished things off in style with his unbeaten 86 off 64 balls which was laced with 7 fours and 5 sixes to his name. The total was made a mockery as England sailed through.

The Dutch bowled too short and wide initially and paid the price eventually. They went for a leather hunt and never recovered. The fielding was way below standard from them. A couple of wickets for Paul van Meekeren, but all the bowlers went for runs as the chase was completed without any sweat. No bowler could keep it tight. Fred Klaassen gave away 6 runs and over. But the others went the distance. A win by 8 wickets with 19.5 overs to spare here at the VRA Ground, Amstelveen.

Earlier in the game, it was stand-in skipper Jos Buttler won the toss and had no hesitation to field first. Eoin Morgan missed the game due to a long-standing groin injury. The Dutch didn’t get off to a great start as they lost Vikramjit Singh to David Willey for 6 runs. Max O’ Dowd and Tom Cooper put a decent partnership of 72 runs as Cooper scored 33 after being dropped by Livingstone on 0. Max O’ Dowd contributed with 50 before he was the third player to be dismissed. Thereafter, a great partnership between Bas de Leede and Scott Edwards took the Dutch to 203-3 from 119-3. It was an 84-run partnership between the duo before Bas de Leede got out at the end of the 40th over with the score reading 203-4. He made 56 his maiden ODI fifty. Then the innings just spiraled downhill as Scott Edwards lost his partners at regular intervals. He himself got out in the end as he was the 9th wicket to fall. He top-scored with 64 off 72 balls. After Edwards, nobody got into double digits as 20 extras by England contributed to 244 all out in 49.2 overs. An under-par score on this pitch.

From England’s point of view, David Willey was the pick of the bowlers as he picked up 4 wickets in his 8.2 4 for 36. David Payne picked up a wicket in the end on debut as he bowled 9 overs for 35 runs for the wicket. Sam Curran had an underwhelming day as his 6 overs accounted for 35 runs. Brydon Carse was a tad expensive in his 8 overs 2 for 49. Liam Livingstone bowled 8 overs for 40 runs alongside picking up a wicket as well. Adil Rashid bowled a solid spell as he bowled 10 overs 1 for 41. A great bowling performance meant that the Dutch were limited to 244. Ideally, they would have liked 300 to challenge this English side.

So, a win for England by 8 wickets with 19.5 overs to spare as they go top of the World Super League Points table. Stay tuned for the post-match presentation coming your way soon.
