10:05 PM IST: The Dutch fought back extremely well and were probably one wicket away from historic victory at one point in the game but the experience of West Indian batting took the visitors over the line. That's it from us today, I am Ovaise Shariff signing off on behalf of my co-commentators Akshaya Krishna Polya aka AKP and Ajay Ahire alongside our scorer/analyst Dushyant Kumar Singh. Hope you enjoyed our coverage and do join us on the 4th of June (Saturday) for all the live action from the 3rd and final ODI of this series! Until then it's goodbye and good night!!!
Nicolas Pooran | West Indies Captain: Very happy with the result and as I said before we came here to win games and we are doing the right things. There was a bit of a collapse in the middle but the guys put their hand up and got the job done in the end.  We want to get wickets with the new ball and if we don't then the spinners have to do the job. Every victory means a lot to us and we want to keep winning and keep taking this momentum forward. We will try to live in the moment and enjoy this evening.
Pieter Seelaar | Netherlands Captain: "Ahh!! Obviously, we didn't score a big total on the board. We had a good platform with our openers playing well. We didn't do justice to their work. We lost wickets at regular intervals and ended up with a below par total. We had the game in our hand when we reduced them for 99/5 I guess if I am not wrong. We couldn't grab the opportunity of getting them all-out because we had some chances which we messed up in the field. Yeah, youngsters are doing a great job for us. How good was Sharizyy? Hasn't he done well. Yeah, he was right up there with the performance. Obviously, we didn't had enough runs to defend. They were good today as well. We have now lost the series but we have pride to play for in the next game. We will comeback stronger."
Brandon King(Man of the Match): "I am extremely happy. I tried my best to get a win here for the team and was really happy to take the team over the line. It just feels good to bat here at VRA. Bowlers did well to restrict them at 214. It is always good to bat in a difficult situation and happy that I gave away my best for the team."

9:48 PM IST | Ovaise: West Indies have won the match by 5 wickets and have taken a 2-0 lead in this 3 match ODI series being played at Amstelveen. King and Carty rescued the innings brilliantly and took them past the finishing line in style at the VRA!

Let’s have a recap, Netherlands won the toss and opted to bat first on a pitch that looked very dry. Vikramjit Singh and Max O’Dowd walked out to open the batting for the hosts. Alzari Joseph and Kyle Mayers opened the bowling and were slightly wayward which allowed the Dutch openers to get their eye in. Vikramjit continued from where he left off in the previous game, he was very impressive but again fell short of his fifty. He walked back to the dressing room after scoring 45 off 58, including five boundaries and a six. Spinners were brought into the attaching and just like the first ODI they kept the run-scoring tight and applied a lot of pressure which resulted in wickets.

The Dutch lost wickets at regular intervals in the middle overs, and the Spinners didn't allow the batters to settle down. Bas de Leede struggled during his stay at the crease, and eventually got clean bowled in trying to play a release shot. The middle and lower order were poor with the bat yet again and did not capitalize on the platform set by their openers. Scott Edwards, the wicket-keeper batter who came at number three, was the only one who looked comfortable and took his team to a formidable totally of 214 before perishing in trying to up the ante. Akeal Hosein finished with his best-ever ODI figures of 10-0-39-4.

The centurion from the last match walked out to bat along with Shamarh Brooks, the openers looked solid against Logan van Beek and Ryan Klein who opened the bowling for Dutch. The visitors were on 17 for no loss after 5 over but on the first ball of the 6th over, Logan Van Beek dismissed Brooks with a brilliant delivery. Nkrumah Boner joined Shai Hope in the middle and together they stitched a short partnership in which the visitors looked like taking the game away from the home team but the Dutch struck back and Bas de Leede scalped his second wicket and Netherlands has crawled back into the game.

The visitors were 3 down for 48 when Skipper Nicolas Pooran walked out into the middle, it was a struggle for the man who has just returned from the IPL, he was sent walking back to the dressing room by the debutant Shariz Ahmad. The youngster got a wicket off the 2nd ball he has ever bowled, note that he hasn’t played a List A game yet, this is his first-ever outing and to come up with such a performance was a delight to watch. The visitors were in a spot of bother but Brandon King and Keacy Carty steadied the ship and stitched up a magnificent partnership to take their side past the finishing line!! The Netherland bowlers toiled hard but were unable to get the breakthrough. It was a quite comfortable chase with a hick-up or two in the middle, West Indies have won the series 2-0 with a match still to be played!! The weather was brilliant today and we didn't have any interruptions, hoping for the same in the next game as well. Join us for the 3rd ODI on June 4th (Saturday)

Akshaya: Keacy Carty!! DRILLS THAT OVER THE DEEP MID WICKET BOUNDARY FOR A BIGGIE TO FINSIH OFF IN STYLE!! West Indies after their failure up at the top of the batting order have done very well to win the game with a few overs remaining. They made a tough chase for themselves of a below par total. West Indies win by 5-wickets and enters the top eight in the CWC Super League points table alongside winning the series 2-0 with a game in hand!!
45.3 A Dutt to K Carty
6 SIXXX!!!! Sealed with a six...What a way to end the match from Carty. An emphatic win here for the Windies. A good run-chase on the difficult surface and with that they take away the series with the unassailable lead of 2-0. Dutt bowls that one on a short of a length on the off stump line. Carty hangs back and powers that one over the long-on for a maximum here. Windies beat the Netherlands by 5 wickets.
45.2 A Dutt to K Carty
0 Quicker this time on the off. Carty again hangs back and defends it on the leg side.
45.1 A Dutt to K Carty
0 Off break a tad outside the off. Carty hangs back and defends it back towards the bowler.
