That's all from our coverage of India vs South Africa 3rd ODI. This is Badal Pareek signing off along with Arijit and Ninaad. Do join us for other coverages from all across the globe. Good night, see you next time.
Temba Bavuma, South Africa Captain: "Obviously things did get a bit crazy out there in the end. Probably, the complacency got to us as we thought that we had it in the bag. Guys tried a couple of things that didn't come off. But we did manage to bring it back. Yeah, quite a bit crazy towards the end. Yeah, it is very satisfying(to win 3-0). Mission accomplished for us. Many people didn't give us a chance against India and we hope that our performance will help us get a few more supporters, maybe even you guys up in the commentary box as well. As a team, we will take the confidence and we feel we are making good strides as a team. The challenge is to get better and better. Quinton has been great, he showed why he is such a valuable asset for us. Dussen as well has been quite good, he has started to go onto the next level. The bowling overall has been quite good. It was a big challenge, and to come out the way that we did, it will do a lot of good to our confidence. If I look at the test series it has been the hardest series that I have been a part of, every day the Indian bowlers were asking the right questions. We had to be relentless in terms of execution to come out on top. Mentally, we were up to it and it has been very hard in the last couple of weeks. We were able to be dominant and that's a big feather in our cap. It is always great to contribute to a win."
Quinton De Kock(Player of the match and Player of the series): "Ahh, yeah it wasn't the case, it wasn't flat at all. You have to remain positive all time and that's the positive. I mean I like scoring against every time. I think both the team , we play in very good wickets I guess.  Yeah, it was very easy. Came back very easy from training, and trying to get some rhythm, match ready, first one trying to find my feet, and obviously in the  2nd ODI got back my momentum. TBH, it's the very same. Some funny boys in the team, some good cooperation. I think it's the mom actually. She's the one who's calling. Need to go home and got some daddy duties."
KL Rahul, India captain: "I thought Deepak gave us a real chance to win the game. Quite an exciting game but disappointed to be on the losing side. We will learn from this experience and will get better. Its quite obvious where we have gone wrong. The shot selection has been poor, we haven't hit the ball in the right areas. We haven't held the pressure on the opposition for longer time so we lost the series. It is for everyone to recognize and identify how we can get better. I've been part of the team for quite sometimes. And the fight we put up, the fight and effort we put up on the field, you cannot take that away from the boys. These kind of mistakes will keep happening and it is important to learn from them and make sure that we don't repeat them anymore. We need to look ourselves in the mirror to see what we can do better overall as a white ball team. We had a great time here in South Africa. We were looked after well by CSA. The scorecards look different but we showed a lot of fight. We will go back home with lots of learnings and memories and we will be better."
Time for the presentation ceremony.
The efforts of Deepak Chahar towards the end of the innings go in vain as India lose the third and final ODI by 4 runs.

India won the toss and decided to bowl first. They made four changes to their previous playing eleven while South Africa made a solitary change. India managed to pick up multiple wickets in the powerplay and were in firm control of the match early on. De Kock and van der Dussen managed to steady the ship with a solid partnership through the middle over. De Kock was the star of the African innings as he managed to smash the Indian bowlers to all parts of the ground. He ended up scoring 124 runs off 130 balls. He was well supported by Dussen and Miller. South Africa were on course for something over 300 but towards the end of their innings, they lost a few too many wickets and could only manage 287. They were bowled out in the last over of the first innings. Krishna was the pick of the bowlers with three wickets and Bumrah and Chahar contributed with two each.

It might not have been a mammoth first innings total but it was a decent enough total for this track as the slower ball was gripping and the spinners were getting a lot of purchase of the surface.

India lost KL Rahul up top and post that we witnessed a masterclass batting performance from Kohli and Dhawan who stitched a 98 run partnership. They both got past 50 runs but failed to carry on. As long as they were out there in the middle things looked easy for India. But, post Dhawan's departure things fell apart for team India. They lost Pant early and soon Kohli followed him to the pavilion. They kept losing wickets at regular intervals. The match went down to the wire as Chahar took matters into his own hands and smacked the bowler all around the park. Ngidi dismissed Chahar for 54 runs and after that, they managed to bowl out India. South Africa ended up winning the match by 4 runs.
South Africa won by 4 runs and they complete a clean sweep over India.
49.2 D Pretorius to Y Chahal
W In the air and taken at point! It's all over for India! What a thriller we have witnessed here for the final game of the series. South Africa clean sweep the series 3-0! Length delivery, a quicker one from Pretorius. Chahal was expecting a slower one and pulls this with his eyes away from the ball. The ball loops straight up in the air, David Miller gets underneath and finishes the game off.
49.1 D Pretorius to P Krishna
1 Gets a single off the first ball! Good length delivery on the off stump. Moves a tad in after pitching. Prasidh runs it down towards short third man and gets across for a quick single. The keeper has come up to the stmups.
Dwaine Pretorius will finish off the proceedings.
Arijit: So 6 runs needed from the last over now. This is what a few wickets can do !! South Africa is back in this game. Can Chahal or a Praisdh Krishna dispatch one out of the ropes?

48.5 A Phehlukwayo to P Krishna
1 Finds the single, India are now one stroke away from victory. Full and outside the off stump, guided through the covers for a single.
48.4 A Phehlukwayo to P Krishna
0 Starts with a dot ball! Half volley, angled in to the stumps. Prasidh blocks down the pitch and looks to get a single but Phehlukwayo is quick to get to the ball.
48.3 A Phehlukwayo to J Bumrah
W India are nine down and Rahul Dravid is all smiles in the dressing room! Bumrah looks to play this over mid off but fails to get the proper elevation. Temba Bavuma runs towards his left and takes a fine catch at mid off. Fuller delivery outside the off stump, good intent from Bumrah but fails to get to the pitch of the ball.
