Thanks for joining us for the live coverage of the PSL contest between Quetta Gladiators and Karachi Kings. This was Saurabh Saket alongside Badal Pareek and Karthik. We will be back with you as we bring you updates from all across the globe. Until then stay tuned and stay safe!

Sarfaraz Ahmed | Quetta Gladiators captain: "The pitch was a tricky one to bat one, but we managed to bowl well and win the match. Our bowlers were outstanding, especially Khurram and Naseem. The only chance for us to qualify is if Islamabad doesn't bat first tonight."
Babar Azam | Karachi Kings Captain: "It was an unfortunate season for us, the fans will be disappointed with it, but we tried hard. We had a lot of injuries in our team, and that didn't help us."
Khurram Shahzad | Player of the Match: "It was my dream to get Babar out, glad that I managed to do that. I always try to stay positive and try to give my best on the field."
The Karachi Tigers took on the Quetta Gladiators in the 28th match of the tournament. The Gladiators won the toss and opted to bat first as Jason Roy and Will Smead started the innings for their side. The team soon lost Smead early within the power play as Usman Shinwari picked him off.

Jason Roy and James Vince tried to stabilize the innings and were somewhat successful but were not able to keep the scoring rate up. The Kings however made comeback in the game with two back to back wickets of James Vince and Umar Akmal to push the team to the backfoot. Jason Roy kept the innings up and running for his side and scored 82 off 64 deliveries to help his side score 166 runs in 20 overs.

The Kings had a great start to the chase and the openers put up a good 80 runs partnership to put their team in the driving seat early in the contest. Babar Azam was the first to depart after he chopped the ball onto his stumps. Sharjeel Khan was the next in line and played a quickfire came of 16 runs off 7 deliveries. Quetta made a comeback into the game after consecutive wickets of Joe Clarke who was the top scorer for his side with 52 runs to his name, followed up by Qasim Akram and Rohail Nazir.

The Kings soon slowed down and were in need of 37 runs off the last 2 overs. I'm as Wasim slogged the ball for a maximum in the second delivery of the 19th over to bring the needed runs to 30 in ten deliveries.

Khurram pulled the match away with consecutive wickets in the last two deliveries, picking up his fourth wicket of the contest in the process. The team had no chances to make a comeback in the game as they kept losing wickets like a crashing deck of cards. The Gladiators kept the batters in check and won the contest by 23 runs.

1 That is it, Quetta wins this one by 23 runs. Full-length delivery on the stumps, the batter works it towards long-on for a single.
19.5 A Qureshi to U Asif
1 Some effort by the man in the deep, Roy dives full length and saves five runs here for his team. Asif dances down and smashes it towards long-off.
19.4 A Qureshi to U Asif
0 Good length delivery outside off stump, it keeps a touch low as the batter misses it.
19.3 A Qureshi to U Shinwari
1 A touch full in length on the stumps, the batter works it towards mid-wicket for a single.
19.2 A Qureshi to U Asif

19.1 A Qureshi to I Wasim
W Another one goes down. What on earth is happening here. I am falling sort of words describing wickets here. They have made a meal of this chase. Full toss delivery on the stumps, the batter tries to go for the biggies gets the toe end of the bat here. The ball goes high into the night sky, the fielder comes underneath and takes it with ease.

W Another one bites the dust here. Ohh my lord they are going down like a deck of cards. Lammonby gets a golden duck here. He goes to ramp it over the keeper but fails to get bat on this one. The ball crashes into the stumps. That is way too casual from the batter.
