That's a wrap to our coverage of Match14 of HBL PSL Season7 where we saw another one-sided encounter between the two teams. Do join us back for Match 15 tomorrow between the Quetta Gladiators and Lahore Qalandars in what is the final game of the night in Karachi. Plus, there are loads of cricket action happening in our network. Stay tuned for all the updates on that as well.

For now, this is me Ayan Chatterjee signing off on behalf of my co-commentators Ajay Ahire and Ajay Singh. Till next time, stay happy, safe, and cool, and get vaccinated if you still haven't. We will catch up with you soon. TA-TA! And ADIOS to all.
Player of the Match & Winning Captain Shadab Khan: "I am thankful to the Almighty. It was quite a struggle after the injury but I am thankfully doing well. You have to lead from the front while playing as a captain. I couldn't do well the last time but it's turning out fine this season. Your individual performances give you a lot of confidence. It feels good to be doing well. It was our plan to put our bowlers under pressure. Hasan Ali is a world-class bowler. We, as a bowling unit, are responding well under pressure. Azam Khan's little cameo towards the end gave us the momentum. It's more important for me to contribute to the team's success."
Babar Azam(Losing captain): 'Definitely it's unfortunate to lose all matches so far. Will try to improve from here on and try to keep the boys motivated and positive in their attitude. Definitely will do better in the Lahore leg and go one step forward. The score was chasable but we didn't bat well throughout the innings and leaked runs in the first innings."
Time for the post-match presentation.
That's the end of the game and a comfortable win for Islamabad United as they thrash the Karachi Kings by 42 runs to get their 3rd win in 5 games. Karachi Kings will remain winless after 5 games as they head off to Lahore after this.

Islamabad United won the toss and decided to bat first earlier today on a slow pitch and mustered 177-6 in their allotted 20 overs. Loads of the '30s from the top order players. Stirling scored 39 off 30 balls the top scorer. Alex Hales chipped in with 30 off 21 balls. Colin Munro struggled for his run-a-ball 33. Shadab Khan was magnificent in his 34 off 19 balls. Asif Ali contributed with 10 off 6 balls and Azam Khan contributed with 16 off 7 balls in the end.

A couple of wickets for Chris Jordan and one wicket apiece for Imad Wasim, Usman Shinwari on his comeback, Umaid Asif, and Mohammed Nabi who was expensive with the ball.

In the chase of 178, the Karachi Kings never got going if we are being brutally honest. Sharjeel Khan was run-out early in the piece while Babar Azam the skipper failed which meant it was the beginning of the end for them. Farhan contributed with 25 off 17 balls, Gregory scored 15, and Asif 10. Mohammed Nabi was a delight to watch in his 47 off 28 balls that minimized the margin of defeat. All in all, another disappointing batting performance by the Kings.

For the United bowlers, Shadab Khan was the pick of the bowlers with 4-15 in his 4 overs. The captain led from the front. All the others chipped in with a wicket apiece Maqsood, Hassan Ali, and Wasim Junior. Let's not forget the Run Outs in the innings that we had which helped the United team. All in all, a clinical display from United to jump to second place in the table. Kings stay at the bottom.

So, Islamabad United win by 42 runs to climb to second in the points table. Karachi Kings stays at the bottom of the table with 0 wins in 5 games. Stay tuned for the post-match presentation coming your way.
