Sourya: So Islamabad United have run out deserving winners  over Quetta Gladiators in that high-scoring game and they are just behind the Sultans in the table. We hope you enjoyed our coverage of this PSL game. It is time for me to say goodbye on behalf of me and my fellow commentators Ajay Singh and Akshay Bhide. See you next time.
Shadab Khan: I think even when you win there are certain things that you lack. We back each other while batting, we are struggling a little at the death while batting. The hard work put in by Azam Khan impressed me as a captain. He is a hard hitter and his body language is very good. I am happy with my performances, am trying to lead from the front, when the captain performs the team is is inspired. I will try to continue this streak where I can contribute to the team. Catches win matches. If am captain of a team I push my fielders, I want to present an example as a good fielder and till now my boys have responded to the call.
Sarfaraz Ahmed | Skipper, Quetta Gladiators: "We had to make some changes before the toss. Hasnain missing out was a setback for us. We leaked too many runs in the powerplay. We should have held onto the catches as well. The boys are playing well, though. Naseem is doing well. Nawaz also did well today. We need to sit together and talk."
Colin Munro | Player of the Match: "It is not easy to bat but when you are batting with Hales, Stirling, and other guys, it makes my life easier. I try to discuss with players who have batted here previously and try to get used to the conditions. Azam is a brilliant striker of the ball and he has done the same against us in the previous editions. Good to bat with him and watch him hit the ball from the other end."
Colin Munro is the Player of the Match for his knock of 72* off just 39 balls.
Paul Stirling: "Good to get some runs under the belt before I depart for national duties. I form a good partnership with Hales and we had a laugh about how we were getting off the middle of the bat. Cricket is changing so much and you got to play strokes right from the start of the innings. (On Shadab) He is brilliant with the ball, in the field, and also with the bat. He is leading from the front."
Sourya: Captain Shadab Khan could not have hoped for a better performance from his wards as they crushed Quetta Gladiators by 43 runs in an all-round display where they shone in all departments of the game including fielding. Chasing a mammoth 230 to win, Quetta, who had chosen to field after winning the toss, they began decently, with Ahsan Ali (50 off 27), giving them a good start. But they never really got into the chase and were really set back by the brilliant leg spin of the extremely impressive Shadab (5/28) and they were knocked out of the chase by his spell. Hassan Ali and Mohammad Wasim also got two wickets. Mohammad Nawaz hit some lusty blows to make 47 but his rearguard action came a little too late with their middle order batters all struggling to get it away and them losing the game in that spell. In the end, Quetta were all out for 186.

Earlier, put into bat, United made a dream start, with Paul Stirling beginning to cream the bowling to all corners of the park in the first powerplay, beginning to his sixes from the second ball he faced. He departed for 58 but by then his team had crossed 100 in the eighth over. Though Alex Hales had departed after a quickfire cameo, lanky leftie Colin Munro (72 off 39) was a more-than-able replacement, using his long legs to get to the pitch of the ball and clearing the fence with aplomb. He was especially severe on Shahid Afridi who bowled the most expensive spell of his career. After Stirling, Azam Khan (65 off 35) joined the party, and despite a nice comeback by the bowlers, led by Sohail Tanveer with his variations. They did fall 20 or so short of the score they promises but still put up a humongous 229/4. Mohammad Nawaz got two wickets and went for 32.
19.3 M Wasim to N Shah
W  BOWLED' EM!!! That's the end of the match. Wasim bowls a pinpoint yorker on the pads, Naseem makes room and tries to slog it into the leg side but ends up getting hit on the back leg and it ricochets on the stumps. With this, the Islamabad United beat the Quetta Gladiators by 43 runs.

19.2 M Wasim to S Tanvir
W Another one bites the dust. Wasim bowls it full outside off, Tanvir tries to lift it over mid off but fails to get it off the middle of the bat as Hales inside the circle takes a simple catch. Tanvir departs on a duck.
19.1 M Wasim to S Tanvir
0 Wasim nails the wide yorker and Tanvir fails to get any bat on it.

18.6 H Ali to M Nawaz
W Gone. Hasan Ali strikes on his final ball. Bowls a well-directed short delivery, Nawaz is hurried by the pace as he miscues the pull and Hales from long on runs in and takes a good catch. End of a very good cameo from Mohammad Nawaz. He departs on 47 off just 22 balls.
18.5 H Ali to M Nawaz
6 Pulled away for a maximum. Short delivery on the body, Nawaz pulls it high in the air and the fielder on the deep mid wicket boundary runs to his left and tries to push it back but ends up parrying it over the ropes.
18.4 H Ali to J Faulkner
1 Another fuller delivery on the stumps, Faulker fails to get under that one as he mistimes the slog towards long on. Strike rotated.
