What a great game of cricket we had today! While that's all for the day, we will be back tomorrow with the encounter between Peshawar Zalmi vs Lahore Qalandars. Do join for the game tomorrow. For now, it's me, Ajay Singh, along with my fellow commentators Ajay Ahire and Sourya, signing off. Goodbye!

Mohammad Rizwan, winning captain: “God willing we did what we had in our hand. Our team is gelling really well, the coach and manager have played a really big role in that. We work on details in captaincy, putting Cook the tall player on the boundary was one thing. Of course I believe that things also go your way in certain phases when you are on a good run.”

Shadab Khan (Losing captain): "The death bowling was not up to the mark and that cost us the game. We bat deep so we try to take on from the first ball. Yes happy with my individual performance but I would have been happier if the team would have won. But will try our best in the next game."
Player of the Match Tim David: "It's pretty nice when it comes off like that. It's a great feeling to contribute and win games for the team. The boys have been playing great at the top. I am happy to have contributed when I got the chance. It's a perfect change room as we have four wins from four games."
Khushdil Shah continues to contribute to the win, as he finished with figures of 4/34 today. David Willey, who concluded the game by sending the leg-stump for a walk, was the other pick of the bowlers with figures of 3/38 from 3.4 overs. Multan Sultans now sit comfortably at the top of the table with 4 wins from 4 games!
While all of Paul Stirling, Alex Hales, and Rahmanullah Gurbaz got good starts, none of them could keep their nerves to keep going. Stirling wanted to play one shot too many, and Gurbaz saw no other way than hitting boundaries to score runs. A couple of maximums by Asif Ali in the middle gave some hope, but it was all Shadab Khan vs Islamabad United in the second innings.
What a game between Shadab Khan, oh well, Islamabad United and Multan Sultans! In the end, it's another two points for Rizwan and Co. as they continue on their merry way. We hardly ever witness an innings like the one Shadab Khan played today. The skipper kept milking runs even as no other batter stood by him in the chase. While the Sultans have edged over Islamabad United, who eventually fell 20 runs short of the target, today, you got to feel for Shadab Khan.
19.4 D Willey to M Wasim
W GONE! It's over, goes for the fast yorker length ball on middle and leg and beats the bat of the tailender to castle him to end an enthralling game.
19.3 D Willey to M Wasim
0 Another one that grips the pitch, short but slightly quick, hits the pads.
19.2 D Willey to M Wasim
2 Shortish cutter outside off, walks across to pull it wide of long on, only a two.
19.1 D Willey to M Wasim
0 Willey begins the last over with a characteristic slower cutter, tries a ramp shot the batsman, misses it, the ball goes just past the off.

18.6 R Raees to Lange
0 Almost a yorker on middle, just misses it again, flicked away for a single.
18.5 R Raees to Lange
0 Another nice cutter, beats the bat and the off stump, one bounce to the keeper.
18.4 R Raees to M Wasim
1 Full outside off, attempted yorker, flicked down to the fence for just one.
18.3 R Raees to S Khan
W GONE! Shadab is finally out. Short ball climbs on him around off and he tries to force it over deep mid-wicket but does not get all of it this time. David will hold on to end what has been a gallant and brilliant knock.
