Milestone
That's it from the Super Smash for today. Do join us for other coverages from all across the globe. This is Badal Pareek, signing off along with my co-commentators Rahul and Ajay. See you next time.
Santner's outstanding 59 runs of 35 balls makes sure that the Knight end up on the right side of the result. Northern Knight have won the match by 2 wickets with 3 balls left.

Northern Knights won the toss and decided to bowl first. They got off to the best possible start as Tim Southee dismissed Conway in the second over. The wicket had no effect on Allen as he kept thrashing the bowlers to all parts. He was soon joined by Bracewell who started off slowly but did join the party soon enough. They managed to cross the hundred run mark even before the 9th over. Allen departed soon and post that things started to fell off. They were on course for something over 200 but the flurry of wickets made sure that the Knights were back in the hunt. Southee and Walker were the pick of the bowlers as they managed to dismiss Wellington for 167. It was some comeback by the Northern Knights bowlers.

Northern Knights in reply lost a few too many wickets in the powerplay. Seifert did play a nice little cameo upfront but post that they were in all sorts of trouble. They were 3 down in the powerplay itself. In walked Santner at number 5 and this was where the game swung once again. He and Cooper stitched a valuable partnership of 56 runs for the 5th wicket. Santner was timing the ball to perfection, he smoked them to all parts of the ground. By the time he was dismissed, the match was almost in the bag of the Knights. He ended up scoring 59 runs off 35 balls. The match did go down to the wire but the required run rate was way too low for them. They did lose a few wickets towards the end by did get manage to get over the line. The Knights won the match by 2 wickets in the end.
Northern Knights won by 2 wickets.
19.3 B Sears to I Sodhi
1 Fuller and on the stumps, Sodhi flicks it towards mid on and takes through for a quick single. Fielder makes a mess there as it would have been a clear run out at the non striker end as he fails to collect throw from Younghusband. Northern Knights win by 2 wickets with 3 balls to spare!!

19.2 B Sears to T Southee
W Gone!! Oh my word! Sears bowls short and on off, Southee goes hard on the pull and gets a top edge which pouches in to the hands of Bracewell running towards stumps from mid off. This has come down to wire now!!
19.1 B Sears to T Southee
0 Sears starts off with a dot. Full and on off, Southee drives to mid off but fielder is very quick not to allow a run there.

18.6 J Neesham to T Southee
1 Touch fuller, on the stump channel, Southee flicks it towards deep square leg and takes down for a single to end the over. One needed in the last over now.
Ohh my god! That's some effort by Conway in the deep as he dives forwards and manages it to keep it to a single.
18.5 J Neesham to I Sodhi
1 Short and on the leg side again, Sodhi smashes it towards long on, Conway couldn't get a catch as it fell just short but he throws back quickly towards stumps as batsman take only one.
18.4 J Neesham to I Sodhi
0 Oh no!! Another dot ball now. Short and on the hip height, Sodhi makes room and looks to pull as he is beaten.
18.3 J Neesham to I Sodhi
0 Full and on the toes down leg, Sodhi works it towards mid wicket for no run.
18.2 J Neesham to T Southee
1 Neesham goes short again on the stump line, Southee taps it and takes through for a quick single. This was a goner had ball hit the stumps as Neesham tried to kick it at the striker end.

18.1 J Neesham to A Verma
W Wicket!! Neesham bowls short and outside off, Verma looking to finish things of going over long on holes out to man there in the form of Conway. Just 4 needed here.
4 runs are needed off the last two overs. The writing is on the wall. But, cricket is a game of uncertainty.
