Thank you so much for sticking to our coverage. This is Arijit Kundu signing off alongside Jatin Sachdeva and Rahul Krish. Stay tuned the other coverages from our side.
Colin De Grandhomme|Player of the match: "Yeah, it's nice to get a win, where we wanted to be in. I tried to do simple things rather than trying hard. They bowled good lengths early which made it hard, and later they were slightly touch short and therefore could go for the shots."
Arijit: A dot ball to end the innings and the Brave is up in the points table with a 19 runs victory over the Central Stags. They have outplayed the opposition in every department and have successfully defended 176 runs. Its worth mentioning that the wicket of Ben Smith was the turning point in the game.

Earlier in the game, Central Districts won the toss and opted to field first. The Braves' incurred an early blow after Skipper Jeet Raval and wicketkeeper batter, Tim Seifert departed within the powerplay. The Braves' needed someone to glue a partnership and Carter and De Grandhomme just did the same. Both the batters scattered for the singles and doubles well with a few boundaries and over-boundaries too. Colin De Grandhomme took apart Ajaz Patel in his first over for two sixes and a four. Both the batters went on to score a 100 run partnership with Colin De Grandhomme blistering 86 runs of just 45 balls and Joe carter, scoring 32 runs off 28 balls.

The partnership ended after the 15th over when Lennox came into the attack and scalped two wickets in an over. A few more wickets followed in the slog overs and they finished the scoreboard at  176/7.

In reply, the Central Districts lost two early wickets within the powerplay too. Hughes and Dane Cleaver were the ones to get dismissed early. Following this, there were half-settled short partnerships with Ben Smith playing his role from one end and the wickets tumbling on regular occasions from the other end. They came down to 122-5 after 15 overs with Ben Smith gone past his half century mark and Doug Bracewell batting at 9. They lost two quick wickets and were struggling to get runs off the bat.

With 40 runs needed off the last 18 balls, Ben Smith departed in the very first ball of the 18th over after trying to charge against an offspinner. This was the game-changing moment and it was quite certain that the Knights would get the edge. In the end, they fell short of 19 runs and ended up in despair again.
Here we go, Northern wins by 19 runs.
