So that's it from our end, thank you for joining us, we'll soon be back with further cricketing action and live coverage!

It's the Auckland Aces that have registered a win by 13 runs against the Wellington Firebirds.

Opting to bat first, the Auckland Aces posted a total of 134/9 from 20 overs.

Specialist opener Martin Guptill was dismissed early for 4 (3) by Bennett. George Worker and Mark Chapman then came together to accumulate 52 run stand from seven overs.

Considering the nature of the wicket, the duo’s contribution out there in the middle was of utmost significance. Worker had to walk back for 23 (25), as Ben Sears got his wicket. Cole Briggs and the skipper Robert ODonnell were both dismissed for not which added the pressure back on the Aces.

However, Mark Chapman continued to anchor the innings, and his valuable knock of 55 (48) got his side to a target worth fighting for. For the Wellington Firebirds, Ben Sears stood out with his spell of 3/22 in 4 overs. Ollie Newton, Bennett, van Beek and Younghusband also chipped in with a wicket apiece.

The run chase was off to a disastrous start as the Firebirds lost three wickets for just 10 runs in two overs. Ben Lister Lister was the wrecker in chief as he dismissed Finn Allen 0 (2), Tim Robinson 9 (7) as well as Logan van Beek 0 (4) in quick succession.

Troy Johnson and Michael Bracewell did try to consolidate things with a 43 run partnership but failed to advance further forward with Adithya Ashok getting into the thick of things. The young wrist-spinner bowled a terrific spell of 3/8 in four overs and diminished Wellington’s chances of getting over the line.

Michael Bracewell’s late hurrah of an unbeaten 58* (46) was exciting to watch, but the Firebirds could only add a total of 121-8 in 20 overs, while falling short of 13 runs.

Auckland Aces Captain; Robert O Donnell " Not a complete performance, but we're happy after getting the win. Batting is still a work in progress, but we did well to bat 20 overs and get to decent total. Our bowlers did well, with Lister getting a few in the early overs, followed by Ashok chipping in with his leg spin in middle overs, the more we start showing such performances, the better are our chances of advancing further"
Wellington Firebirds Captain; Michael Bracewell "Decent performance, disappointed that we could not get over the line, Auckland were clearly the better team. The way Ashok bowled was terrific, and we should have restricted them to fewer runs, losing wickets in clusters didn't help us either, it's unfortunate that it didn't work out for us"
Game Changer of the Match; Ben Lister " Had to get the early wickets, and it was good that it was swinging in the first few overs. The way Ashok spun a web in the middle overs was beautiful to watch. The plan in the first innings was to stick there out in the middle for as deep as we can, and get close to 140"
19.6 B Lister to B Sears
4 FOUR RUNS!! Full, straight, Sears comes down the wicket, attempts to strike that through mid wicket, gets an inside edge, and the ball races away to the fence at fine leg! However, it's the Auckland Aces that have secured a win by 13 runs!!
19.5 B Lister to B Sears
0 A wide yorker, Sears tries playing that late and misses it. Dot ball.
19.4 B Lister to M Bracewell
1 Drifts it onto the pads, tucked away to deep mid wicket for one.
19.3 B Lister to M Bracewell
4 FOUR RUNS!! Full, just outside off, and that's flat batted past the umpire for a scintillating boundary!
19.2 B Lister to M Bracewell
2 A full toss, targets middle, Bracewell moves away and drives it through covers for two more.
19.1 to M Bracewell
2 Slower ball, good length, keeps it outside off, powerfully played over the bowler's head, and the fielder at long off gets into action. Two runs taken, and that's 50 for Bracwell!
Wellington need 27 runs off the last over. This seems impossible at this point in time.
