So that's it from Wellington. Hope u enjoyed the action here. Do join us for all upcoming matches from all around the globe. For now, this is me Ajay Ahire signing it off along with my co-commentator Ayan Chatterjee. Until then stay safe and stay cool...
Cam Fletcher is the dream11 game-changer of the match and the Player of the Match as well.
That's it and that's the victory here for the Canterbury Kings. They beat Wellington Firebirds comprehensively here by 7 wickets. Clinical batting performance by the Kings in the chase. Chad Bowes was the stand-out batter for the Kings as he scored 62 runs from 41 balls.

His opening partner McClure was dismissed early in the innings on the bowling of Van Beek. Leo Carter and McConchie were also dismissed early in the innings. And then, it was all about the Bowes and Fletcher partnership. They put on the 69 runs partnership for the 4th wickets and steered them to the victory. Cam Fletcher stayed unbeaten on the score of 52 from only 28 balls. So overall clinical batting and bowling performance from the Canterbury Kings to grab the victory here.

With the ball for the Firebirds, Van Beek and Sears were only the wicket-takers as they grabbed a couple of wickets each in their respective bowling spells. Apart from them, no one was able to find the breakthrough for Wellington. So plenty to look forward to for them to go into the next match.
Ayan: A clinical display by Canterbury as they chase this tricky 152 with 3.3 overs and 6 wickets to spare. Fletcher remaining Not Out with a half-century and not to forget Rowe's contribution of 61 with the bat at the top. The Canterbury bowlers were good. The spinners were magnificent so was Udall. So, a win by 6 wickets as they get their 2nd win in 3 games.
16.3 B Sears to M Hay
6 SIX! Hay finishes things off in style here. Length ball and in the slot here, Hay goes down the ground over the bowler's head a classical shot for the maximum to finish things off in style. A win for Canterbury by 6 wickets with 3.3 overs to spare here. Well done.
16.2 B Sears to C Fletcher
1 Bowls on the middle and leg, Fletcher clips it behind square for a single. Scores are level.
16.1 B Sears to M Hay
1 Sears to continue here. Short ball here, pulls it behind square for a single to deep fine leg.

15.6 Beek to C Fletcher
4 FOUR! Short ball and he hammers it up and over the square leg as the ball rockets to the fence. One bounce and four. 50 for Cam Fletcher. He has had an excellent day here. Just 3 needed off 24 balls now.
15.5 Beek to M Hay
1 Quicker one and good length on off, Hay plays it firmly behind square for a single to get off the mark.

15.4 Beek to C Bowes
W BOWLED! Straight through him. A bit too late here as Rowes is castled. Angled in from wider off the crease and goes through bat and pad here. A good innings from Bowes here 61 from him. A 69 run stand is broken
15.3 Beek to C Fletcher
1 Short ball into the pitch, Fletcher bunts it down to long-on for a single.
15.2 Beek to C Fletcher
0 Fuller in length, Fletcher drives hard to mid-off who dives and saves runs here.
15.1 Beek to C Bowes
1 Van Beek is now back into the attack here. Short ball into the pitch, Bowes pulls it to midwicket for a single.

6 SIXXX!!! Fletcher gets hold of that one here. Short ball on the body line as Fletcher swivels and tries to pull that one gets the tope edge of the bat and it flies over the deep fine leg for a maximum.
