So that's it from our end, we will soon be back to guide you through another fixture. Till then, do take care really good care!
Issy Wong has been named the player of the match for her spell of 2/27 in 4 overs for Sydney Thunder.

It’s been another disappointing afternoon for the Sydney Sixers, as they’ve now sustained two straight defeats in two days. As a result of this recent loss, the Sixers have no chance of advancing any further.

Opting to bat first, the Sixers could only manage to accumulate 94 for the fall of six wickets in 20 overs of play. Sydney Thunder scalped three wickets for 22 runs in six overs, with Issy Wong picking up two, while, a Deepti Sharma direct hit got the better of Shafali Verma. Ashleigh Gardner’s poor run of form continued with the bat as she got dismissed for not. A 39 run stand from Ellyse Perry and Nicole Bolton was one of the few positives of the day for the Sixers. Perry topped the charts with an unbeaten 40* of 40, whereas, Nicole Bolton and Angela Rekaes scored 19 and 16 respectively. The Sydney Thunder skipper, Hannah Darlington was the pick of the bowlers, courtesy of her spell of 2 for 15 in four overs. Issy Wong also picked a couple, while, Samy Jo Johnson chipped in with one wicket.

The run chase was fairly comfortable, as Sydney Thunder chased down 95 with seven six wickets in hand, and 28 balls to spare.  Smriti Mandhana and Sammy Jo Johnson compiled 21 runs before Lauren Cheatle got into the act.  Cheatle dismissed Johnson for 12, and also got the early wicket of Phoebe Litchfield for 3. Cornie Hall did put up 19 runs before getting cleaned up to Cheatle. However, Smriti Mandhana was at her best and her terrific stroke-making display eventually got her to a 45 of 39, which had six boundaries in it.

Lauren Cheatle did do well with her spell of 3 for 15. Stella Campbell also contributed with a wicket towards the end. Sydney Thunder will be extremely satisfied with their efforts with both bat and ball, while, the Sixers will have plenty of thinking to do about an underwhelming season.
