That's it from our coverage of this scintillating 2nd T20 international from Dharamsala! Hope you enjoyed our coverage. Ninaad Dixit here, signing off on behalf of my co-commentators Karthik and Shubham. Stay tuned for more coverage from the cricketing world. Stay safe and take care!
Shreyas Iyer is the player of the match! : That (back and across) is my go-to movement and I feel my body releases and I sight the ball well. It was very important for me to time the ball because it was moving a lot today. Sanju came in and we built a crucial partnership there. Jaddu bhai came in and it was a cruise. He played a brilliant inning there in the middle. I realized that the ball was not turning and thought stepping out would be a good option.  Even in our team meetings, we discuss about focusing on ourselves and eliminating the previous games. Even if I mistimed it on this ground, the ball could clear the boundary!
Rohit Sharma:  I think it was pleasing to see for us. The middle order coming out and performing is good to see those guys taking in the responsibility and finishing off the games. Don't want to be too harsh on the bowlers. These days can happen. Really good pitch to bat on. First 15 overs we bowled very well but obviously learnt what we need to do different during the death overs. We have to look after the guys who have been around the squad for a while.

Both of them (Shreyas Iyer and Ravindra Jadeja) were very good. We lost a couple of wickets, wanted someone to stay still in the end. Lot of these guys are talented. They just need an opportunity to express themselves and backing from our side. To finish the way they did was really good. Jaddu came and looked positive from ball one and Shreyas as well. We lost a couple of wickets, but we wanted someone to stay till the end. If we need to rotate, we'll do it.
Dasun Shanaka: "We started really well but we should have done more in that powerplay (in the second innings). It was very helpful for the new ball bowlers straight up. If we chipped in with one more wicket in the powerplay it would have been good for us. The plan was that Lahiru would not bowl more than two in the first six. I played to my strength and the ball was coming nicely on the bat. If we can win tomorrow, it will be a good achievement for us."
Ninaad: Ravindra Jadeja's strike rate in the final four overs in all T20 Matches since 2020 is now popped up to a staggering 201.4!
Shubham: What a terrific chase that was by the Indian team there, chasing the target of 184 runs in just 17.1 overs. Sri Lanka started off brilliantly today, both their openers playing some excellent shots. Gunathilaka got out after scoring 38 off 29 deliveries and with that opening wicket, the Indians got 2 quick wickets thereafter, reducing Sri Lanka from 67/0 to 76/3.

Pathun Nissanka was the highlight of the first innings, scoring 75 off just 53 deliveries with 11 boundaries. Captain Shanaka played one fine cameo and made sure his team reached a defendable total, scoring 47 off just 19 deliveries and taking Sri Lanka to 183/5 in 20 overs.

Bumrah and Chahal bowled some good lines, finishing their 4 over spells with 24 runs and 27 runs and taking a wicket each. Harshal Patel was the most expensive bowler tonight, giving away 52 runs in his spell and it was not his day at all!

India lost Rohit early and Ishan didn't look good today after getting hit on the helmet early on. He got out after scoring just 16. It was all up to Iyer and Samson to guide India to the finishing line and did they played so well! Samson took his time early on in the innings and once he was set, he was hitting sixes for fun and scored 39 off 25 deliveries with 2 fours and 3 sixes. Jadeja was again sent up the order and this time, he proved his captain right, scoring 39 off 15 and taking the game completely away from the hands of the Sri Lankans.

The best batsman of tonight's match was Shreyas Iyer who continued his fine form from the previous match, playing a match winning knock of 69 runs off 40 deliveries and staying till the end!

Chameera and Fernando were expensive tonight, both going at over 11rpr! Lahiru Kumara bowled some good lines initially but Samson took him apart and Kumara ended up giving away 31 runs in 3 overs and taking 2 crucial wickets of Samson and Ishan. The Sri Lankan bowlers were not up to the mark today and they were let down by their fielders who dropped some crucial catches at crucial moments of the match! In the end, Iyer, Samson, and Jadeja capitalized on those opportunities and made the Sri Lankans pay for it. India continue their winning streak and win another Paytm Trophy!
Sanju Samson: I think the wicket was playing well and the outfield was quick. We thought it was easily chaseable. We can do ten per over at this ground. Partnership with Iyer (Shreyas) was going well and that helped me to get into rhythm. We have played enough cricket together. Couldn't take too much as I wanted to go after the bowling. After getting one boundary, I got the rhythm back. It was very cold while fielding. Once I started batting, couldn't feel anything though. The conversation in the team meeting is to set to our standards. Today was a different kind of condition, very small ground and a different wicket. We are experienced enough to get used to such different scenarios!
17.1 D Chameera to R Jadeja
4 Finishes off in style! Gets a fuller one from over the wicket and outside the off stump. Plays a delicate straight drive with the straight face of the bat and gets the boundary straight down the ground! No chance for any fielder to get to the ball! India win by seven wickets! The eleventh consecutive T20 international victory for the men in blue as they clinch yet another series, leading 2-0 in this three match gig with the final match to be played tomorrow!

16.5 B Fernando to S Iyer
4 Replies that with a boundary! Another yorker on the fifth stump line. Iyer stands his ground, gets on top of the ball and opens the face of the bat between gully and the wicketkeeper! No protection at third man and gets another boundary!

0 Wide yorker outside the off stump. Iyer tries to cut but misses. Good take from Chandimal behind the stumps.
16.3 B Fernando to R Jadeja
1 Back of a length outside the off stump. Drags it with a pull stroke towards deep mid wicket off the bottom part of the bat. Finds a single.
16.2 B Fernando to S Iyer
1 Excellent effort in the circle from the cover fielder. Goes down to his left and saves three runs. Fuller delivery on the off stump, angling away. Iyer drives on the front foot and straight to the fielder.
16.1 B Fernando to R Jadeja
1 Fernando continues over the wicket. Back of a length delivery outside the off stump. Stands his ground and tucks this away with an open face of the bat towards third man for an easy single.

15.5 D Chameera to R Jadeja
4 Make that four boundaries in a row including that six! Wide yorker outside the off stump, Jadeja slices this off the backfoot and beats the third man fielder for four more! Jadeja bumps into Chameera while attempting the single and looking at the ball and apologises.
