That's all from our coverage tonight and that's all from Rawalpindi for the tournament. Now we move on to Lahore for the second leg of the tournament, which resumes this Wednesday. Until then, stay safe and stay tuned for our coverage of cricket tournaments globally.
Babar Azam, CP captain, "Everyone contributed well especially Faheem and Hasan with the ball. When you lose back to back wickets, you are under tremendous pressure. Our bowlers capitalized on that and bowled economically. If your main batters don't perform well, your team is bound to struggle. It was a good experience as usual, playing in Rawalpindi."
Aamer Yamin, SP captain, "We lost 2 wickets in the first over but after Azam's dismissal, the match turned completely, even I threw my wicket away. We were hoping to get 170-175, but we couldn't finish the inning properly."
Faheem Ashraf is the player of the match, "Our plan was to execute the powerplay well. We wanted to hit the stump line if the ball was swinging and kept the plan simple. I stuck to my plan and was successful."
Another win to CP who now have 8 points on the table with 4 wins and 2 losses. Sindh and KP along with Northern also sit with 8 points but Sindh's net run rate puts them ahead of everyone. It's been a tough tournament for Southern Punjab as they have failed to impress with their performances and have lost all 6 matches in the tournament.
An exceptional performance with the ball for CP. Hasan Ali (4 for 24) and Faheem Ashraf (3 for 14) set the tone for the match. Only 2 batters were successful in registering scores in double figures for SP.

In reply, Babar Azam (59* off 49) was the star again as he opened the batting with Ahmed Shehzad and stayed there till the end to ensure the team finishes the game. Shehzad was unfortunate with his dismissal and had a confrontation on the field with the umpire for which he might get penalized. Kamran Akmal enjoyed his comeback too with 28 off 26 and a catch behind the stumps.
17.2 K Shah to H Talat
4 That's the winning runs from Hussain Talat! Hits the overpitched length ball down the ground for a boundary. And that ladies and gentleman is that! Central Punjab win again. Southern Lose against 6 out of 6 lost. All but out of the tournament is SP. CP very much in the top4. Central Punjab in 3rd place with that victory. Sindh at the top followed by KP with Northern in 4th place as we say goodbye to Rawalpindi.
17.1 K Shah to H Talat
0 On the pads, but finds the fine leg inside the circle, a dot. Scores level.
