This is it from the live coverage between Pakistan and Bangladesh in the 1st T20. It's been a great display of cricket with lots of twists and turns in the game.
I hope you've loved every bit of the coverage and we'll be back soon with the T10 coverage where Delhi Bull takes on the defending champions, Northern Warriors in the first game of the 5th edition. Until then, signing off, Arijit Kundu alongside, co-commentators, Anurag Singh and Akshay Bhide.
Babar Azam: "The way Shadab and Nawaz finished was incredible. Obviously very happy with the performance. Yeah we lost a few wickets early. Probably we were 15 runs short with the new ball."
Hasan Ali: "Thanks to the almighty. Happy to contribute to the team's win. I wasn't at my best in the World Cup but happy to be here tonight. I played BPL here and knew that the surface was on the slower side. So tried to bowl stump to stump."
Man of the match: Hasan Ali
Mahmudullah(losing captain): "I think we shud have put a better performance with the bat , specially at the top of the order. This is where we lacked in the World cup as well." Probably, it would be better if we could have got to 140. We did pretty well, bagging a few wickets early. Bowlers did a great job with the ball in hand. But credits to the batters, Nawaz and Shadab did really well. and had the last laugh."
Arriving for the chase, Pakistan lost its reliable and vastly experienced openers very early. The fast bowling unit of Mustafizur Rahman and Taskin Ahmed cleaned up Rizwan and Babar Azam respectively.
Soon, a few more wickets fell and Pakistan crumbled to 24-4 after the powerplay. They were one run short of Bangladesh but lost more wickets at a similar juncture of the game.  It was Fakhar Zaman and Khusdil Shah who took control of the game and steadied the ship from here on. The southpaw duo, went on to add 56 runs together before Fakhar Zaman nicked a swaying away delivery straight to the wicketkeeper's hands. Khusdil Shah tried to continue the momentum but not for long, as Shoriful Islam trapped the former with a length ball, bowled outside the offstump.

With 31 runs needed from the last 18 balls, MD. Nawaz and Shadab Khan took apart Mustafizur Rahman and Shoriful Islam in the 18th and 19th over.  They managed to amass 29 runs of the two overs and needed just two runs from the last over. It was Mohammad Nawaz who closed the game with a grand six in the 2nd ball of the last over and took Pakistan to a victory. Taskin Ahmed bagged two wickets for Bangladesh and one wicket each was distributed between Mustafizur, Mehedy Hasan and Shoriful Islam.
Earlier in the game, Bangladesh had won the toss and opted to bat first. They got a couple of early blows after both the openers departed halfway through the powerplay. Hasan Ali and Md. Wasim junior gets the courtesy to rattle them through within the initial few overs. A few more wickets kept on tumbling and Bangladesh ended their powerplay at 25-3.

Affif Hossain came to the charge and hit a few good shots and managed to club a few runs on board. He went dismissed after scoring 36 off 34 deliveries with 2 sixes and 2 fours to his name. Soon, wicketkeeper batter, Nurul Hasan and Mehedy Hassan added 35 more runs together to take Bangladesh an inch near the century mark. Nurul went dismissed for 28 of 22 deliveries and it was Mehedi Hassan who stuck to the crease till the end of the innings to take Bangladesh to 127-7 after 20 overs with his late cameo. Hasan Ali was the pick of the bowlers with a three-fer. MD. Wasim jr bagged two wickets and one wicket was shared between the two spinners Shadab Khan and Mohammad Nawaz.
From 24-4 to finish the game with 4 balls to spare, this has been a game to remember for Pakistan. The middle and lower middle-order of Pakistan has absolutely spoilt the party of the home side here.

This is some cricket, some array of shots lately in the game. Shadab Khan and Mohammad Nawaz have drawn Pakistan to a victory that seemed quite improbably at the start of the 2nd innings. Pakistan manages to steer a win and lead the three-match series 1-0, winning by 4 wickets margin and 4 balls to spare.
19.2 A Islam to S Khan
6 SIXX!! WOW!! What a partnership and what a finish by these two!! Tossed up in the arc of Shadab who sits on one knee and slogs this deep into the mid wicket stands for a maximum. He wins the game for his side with a huge six.

19.1 A Islam to S Khan
0 A dot to start the last over. Short and outside off, Shadab slaps it but finds covers.
Akshay: What a turnaround this has been for Pakistan. They require only two runs now from the last over.
18.6 Islam to M Nawaz
0 Nails in a yorker outside off to Nawaz who fails to dig this one out. Dot to end the over but still and expensive one as 15 comes from it.
Arijit: Goodness me!! This is some serious power-hitting from Mohammad Nawaz.
18.5 Islam to M Nawaz
6 SIXX!! No Asif Ali, No problem. Mohammad Nawaz has done it for the Pakistanis. Short of a length angling into Nawaz who rocks back and pulls this ferociously over the mid wicket ropes for a maximum.
18.4 Islam to M Nawaz
2 Length delivery in the channel. Nawaz slaps it through the covers towards the wide of deep square leg for a couple.
18.3 Islam to M Nawaz
6 SIXX!! Pakistan have taken the game right to the deep and are taking it away from the Tigers now. On a good length on the middle. Nawaz gets onto the front foot and crashes it over long on for a maximum.
18.2 Islam to M Nawaz
0 Full and wide on the tramline. Nawaz sits down on one knee to go over the covers but misses it completely.
Arijit: Bangladesh, in need of a wicket here. This is the pair.  This is the pair that needs to be broken.
