So that’s it from this Test Match and Series as well. 2-0 to South Africa and they are at second place in ICC World Test Championship points table. I am AkshayaKrishna Polya who is signing off on behalf of my co-commentators Ovaise Shariff and Nikhil Kalla alongside our scorer/analyst Yogesh Kumar as we brought you all the live-actions from this day. Stay tuned on our websites and apps for the matches all around the globe. We will meet in the next match. Until then, it's goodbye!!!

Dean Elgar receives the winner's trophy and the whole team is celebrating it with a good smile to the cameras.

Dean Elgar | South Africa captain: "It has been a good last few months since I have taken over the captaincy. Obviously playing this series as people saw a weakened squad, but I don't see it like that, I see it as giving guys an opportunity at this level to test their skills as international cricketers. Extremely happy with how the guys performed for the last two Tests, lot of tough styles of play had to be implemented and something we are not familiar with. Nonetheless, it was good to try those things out even when you're playing good cricket. The biggest thing for them was to trust the process, Keshav will always be my number one spinner,  Luckily the conditions we played in conditions that assisted this. But yeah what a combination that is! Great to see two guys go about their business at the highest level. We have a good core of spin bowlers in this squad. There's still a lot of hard work to go by as Test cricket is a tough arena and has to come up with certain game plans. What pleased him the most was the attitude of the younger guys coming through, runs from the lower order and I would also say guys putting their hands up and putting pressure on guys who are not here. If you have a lot of options then you give yourself the best chance to win a series at home and away."

Keshav Maharaj | Player of the Match and Series: "Really happy, First to see the team cross the line. Obviously, we know the conditions were difficult and probably not suited for us, but full credit to the team. Dean did an excellent job leading us and the guys were clinical in the series. Dean and the coach had a chat with me they said you're doing the right thing and your time will come, there will be a situation in the second innings, and ever since I have not looked back. I was just trying to do the right things. I have just repeated my processes from the time I started playing domestic cricket, few minor tweaks here and there. I am happy enough to be getting the reward. For 150 wickets I don't really look at my stats. Simon has done an excellent job. There was pressure on him, coming back to international cricket and he showed why he is a world-class performer. Really happy and pleased for him. I tried to show some positive intent with the bat and got the ball in the middle of the bat, obviously a bit disappointed not to get the century but hopefully, in the future, I manage to get to the landmark."

Mominul Haque: "I think in the series, South Africa outplayed us with both bat and ball. We bowled well, but with the bat we failed to build a partnership which was the most disappointing aspect of our game. We can't give any excuses about the condition, we have to prepare well and we have to focus on the process. The opposition doesn't make conditions as you want and as international cricketers, we have to adapt. We'll definitely take the positives out of the One-Day series and try to come better prepared for the test matches on the next tour."
Time for the presentation ceremony
Akshaya: Oh dear!! I feared that it could be Durban again and it turned out to be the same. Same ploy from the  Proteas side, bat first, score big in the first innings, get a good first innings lead and bat near to the end of the day and take three wickets in the remaining half an hour and so. Come back on the next day and skittle through the innings in an hour.

Another Keshav Maharaj magic sinks the visitors. Bangladesh are all-out for just 80 in the second innings. South Africa have won the match by 332-runs and the series by 2-0. 53 in Durban and 80 in Port Elizabeth will have a lot off boos when they land in Bangladesh.

Today's play includes 14.2-overs and 53/7.

Start of the day was a bad one for the Proteas side as their two players were out from the action for the fourth day due to COVID-19. Sarel Erwee and Wiaan Mulder were replaced by Khaya Zondo and Glenton Stuurman. But the first hour of the day and the final hour of this test series were so good for them. Maharaj and Harmer ran through the Bangladesh batting order as Maharaj became the first Test player in the history to take seven wickets haul in two consecutive tests. He also became the first spinner for South Africa to take 150 Test Wickets. With Mushfiqur Rahim falling in the second over of the day to Taijul Islam to become the last batter to dismissed. Litton Das (27 off 33) and Mehidy Hasan (20 off 25) resisted the bowling attack to some extent but they too can't take their side past the 100-run mark.  Maharaj (12-3-40-7) took seven wickets and Harmer (11.3-1-34-3) took three in his support. Bangladesh couldn't bat no more than 23.3-overs in the second innings.

Earlier in the test match, South Africa batted first after winning the toss. A Keshav Maharaj (84 off 95) special along with gritty and classy fifties from their skipper Dean Elgar (70 off 89), Keegan Petersen (64 off 124), and Temba Bavuma (67 off 162) propelled them to a huge first innings score of 453. And a noteworthy thing from the first-innings is that all of their 10-batters except Duanne Olivier got into double figures. For Bangladesh, it was Taijul Islam (50-10-135-6) who backed up his return to the test side with a six-fur.

Trailing by this huge margin, the visitors had no answers to the sharp bowling of the hosts. Mushfiqur Rahim’s (51 off 136 ) fifty and a couple of handy contributions from Tamim Iqbal (47 off 57), and Yasir Ali (46 off 87) helped the Tigers to get past the 200-run mark. It was mainly Wiaan Mulder’s (13-7-25-3) spell on the second day that crushed any ray of hope of them getting close to the Proteas first-innings total. And Simon Harmer (10.2-1-39-3) did the rest on the third day.

With a first-innings lead of 236-runs and with the fragile Bangla batting, one would have thought that South Africa would give them a follow-on. But instead, Dean Elgar (26 off 29) and Sarel Erwee (41 off 66) walked out to bat. They along with the rest of the batters batted a bit aggressively and scored some quick runs and declared with around 12-overs left in the day. Kyle Verreynne (39 off 30) was unbeaten when Elgar signaled for a declaration as soon as Wiaan Mulder was out. They declared at 176/6, leaving Bangladesh a target of 413-runs. Taijul Islam (15-2-67-3) again was the pick of the bowlers as he picked up three wickets along with Mehidy Hasan (9.5-3-34-2) who gobbled up a couple of wickets in his support.

Chasing a mammoth total of 413-runs to win, Bangladesh was again reminded of the Durban tragedy. Keshav Maharaj (2-wickets) and Simon Harmer(1-wicket) in the bit of 9-overs they bowled during the last half an hour of day three brushed aside the top-order of  the visiting Bangladesh team. Both have reduced the Bangladeshi side to 27/3, leaving them 386 more runs required to level the series with two days left.

Bangladesh would be happy for their performances in the ODI series as they won it by 2-1. But South Africa made a strong come back by winning the Test series 2-0 as they white wash the visitors. Out of 40-wickets to fall 29-wickets were picked up by the spin twins of South Africa. Stay tuned for the presentations..

Ovaise: Keshav Maharaj becomes the first man in the history of Test Cricket to take two consecutive 7 wicket hauls in the 4th innings of back to back games.
23.3 S Harmer to T Islam
W GONEEE!! The final wicket has been taken by Harmer, he darts it in on the stump, goes past the defence of Islam and crashes into his pads. Loud appeal and a very simple decision for the Umpire, raises his finger quickly. So, Bangladesh are all out for 80!! Extremely poor performance with the bat by the visitors.
23.2 S Harmer to T Islam
0 Quicker through the air, outside off, 5th stump line, left alone by Taijul Islam.
23.1 S Harmer to T Islam
0 Tossed up delivery, outside off, Islam leaves it to alone to the keeper.
