No champagne this time during the celebration, as a show of respect for the demised Queen.
4:34 PM IST| There you go, Ben Stokes being handed over the Series Trophy.
Ben Stokes (Player of the series England): " Yeah very delighted it's been a great series for us. There was not only a standout individual performance but everyone contributed and chipped it. Yeah looking at the conditions I feel that toss played an important role. I think when you have got bowlers like Jimmy, Stuart, and Robbie it's just that I need to manage them properly. It's about understanding when I need to get in and bowl. It's fine if you are gonna six out of seven games I will take it. For me, it's about the clarity of the messaging I give.

The backroom staff and Coaches play an important role in it. We owed this victory to us, to the nation who supported us, we are always going to play cricket in a positive way. It's important to allow the guys to we need to be a bit aggressive we should not underestimate the openers they see off the new balls and allow the middle-order batters to play aggressively.
The way Popey's come out and played, he's shown what he's capable of playing, and Zak and LeesyIt's good to have Jimmy and Stuart on the team. They keep turning day in and day out, lot of youngsters will look up to him.No I don't think so, you mentioned Joe we should give him a lot of credit for the way he captained the side. He had a different way to lead the side my way is a bit different.

We started this summer on a good note, the conditions in Pakistan will be different but we will go with the positive intent into that series."
England's Player of the Series: Ben Stokes.
Dean Elgar (South Africa captain): "No it hasn't been great for me when it comes to international games at Oval. No doubt, I think, in the first innings with the bat in hand, we have to be blank that we weren't good there. In England, the first innings runs can always be piled up but we weren't up to the mark.

There are a lot of learning going forward for the youngsters and we have a bit of work to do for us. I would like to give a lot of credits to our bowlers to do the work well with the ball in hand. The overheads and the duke ball is something to go about for the bowlers. I think the bat in hand for us, we didn't execute well in Day 3 or day 1 what can I say?

When it comes to Test cricket, its merrier that we get more matches. We wish to get exposed to matches all around the globe." Being able to play against quality Test match sides like England is always a good learning.

I think we played good test match cricket. But I think we failed to put the scoreboard pressure today. But I think England did everything they had to do to clinch this series."
Kagiso Rabada (Player of the series South Africa): " Yeah it seemed like every game was decided at the time of the toss, we won the toss at Lord's and we won the game. Particularly as a youngster, I need to back my skills, I injured myself in the second T20I I was not sure whether I would be able to make it for the first test but I am happy that I made it. It's very exciting to see the talent in terms of fast bowlers we have, overall we have a good team. You can never take the game for granted you need to put 100 percent every time on the field nothing is easy."
Ollie Robinson (Player of the Match): "The last few weeks have been enjoyable, and coming in this summer every thing went well. Ah, we still have little work to do, and we have got that in our mind. I think we have really enjoyed the environment, everyone has got a smile in their face and therefore the atmosphere is good.

Yeah, the surface definitely helped. The other two bowlers did their work from the other end and it helped me too. Thank You."
Player of the match: Ollie Robinson
Test Player of the Summer: Jonny Bairstow
4:14 PM IST| Time for the presentation ceremony now.
4:08 PM IST| We are moments away from the post-match presentation.
Hitesh: That's it England have won this game by 9 wickets and have sealed the series by 2-1.It was a display of pure dominance of bowlers in this test match. This is the shortest ever Test match in England since 1912. Only 909 balls were bowled in this test match previous shortest test match was of 941 balls

While chasing a paltry total of 130 runs. England got off to a good start. Alex Lees and Zak Crawley opened the innings for England. This duo stitched a partnership of 97 runs on day 4.

England resumed their innings on day 5 at 97-0. It was just a matter of time for them to sneak away with the victory. Kyle Verreynne dropped the catch of Alex Lees on the third ball of the day but it didn't hurt them much as Alex Lees got trapped in front of the stumps. He walked back after scoring 39 off 73 balls. Zak Crawley stayed unbeaten on 69* runs he took his team over the line comfortably. Kagiso Rabada scalped one wicket and the rest all the bowlers were wicketless.

Earlier in the game, Ben Stokes won the toss and invited Dean Elgar's side to bat first. But day 1 was washed out due to rain and day 2 of the game was called off in the memory of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

The play started on day 3 with the overcast conditions as we know overcast conditions and English bowlers is all different love story. It was another shambolic batting display by the visitors as they were restricted to a total of 118 in 36.2 overs. Marco Janson was the top scorer for proteas in the first innings as he scored 30 runs. Ollie Robinson was the pick of the bowlers with his 5-wicket haul as he finished with 5-49 in 14 Stuart Broad scalped 4 wickets and James Anderson scalped one wicket.

In reply, England skitted to a total of 158 runs in exact 36.2 overs and took a lead of 40 runs. Ollie Pope was the top scorer for England as he scored 67 runs. England got off to a disastrous start in the first innings. Joe Root and Ollie Pope handled the innings and glued a partnership of 41 runs for 48 runs. But once this duo was sent back to the hut it was just a matter of time for the Proteas bowlers to bundle them out. 22yr old Marco Jansen was the pick of the bowlers as he got his first five-wicket haul in test cricket. Veteran Proteas bowler Kagiso Rabbada scalped four wickets and Anrich Nortje scalped one wicket.

South Africa got off to a solid start in the second innings. Dean Elgar and Sarel Erwee stitched a partnership of 58 runs for the first wicket. Sarel Erwee walked back to the hut after scoring 26 runs. Dean Elgar was given out LBW at the score of 36 runs. He didn't review it but the replays showed that the ball was missing a leg stump and this was the turning point of the game. Once Dean Elgar departed it was just a domino effect of wickets. Proteas were bundled out 169 runs with the lead of 129 runs. Dean Elgar was the top scorer for his team as he scored 36 runs.

English skipper Ben Stokes was the pick of the bowlers as he scalped three wickets and Veteran bowler Stuart Broad scalped three wickets too. Ollie Robbinson and James Anderson scalped a couple of wickets apiece.
22.3 M Jansen to Z Crawley
4 FOUR!!!!! And those are the winning runs from Zak Crawley!!  Back of a length delivery swaying away from the right hander, who steadies in the crease and does a backfoot punch away from the body through the gates on the offside. The ball races towards the sweeper cover region and with that England clinch the home series 2-1. Crawley comes in good position and thrusts the willow right with the angle to steer a boundary towards the widish deep covers region. Since 1912, this is the shortest Test played at home and it took just 28 minutes to wrap up things on Day 5 of this momentous Test.
22.2 M Jansen to Z Crawley
0 Back of the length delivery drifting down the leg, Crawley misses the tuck.
22.1 M Jansen to O Pope
1 Back of the length delivery on the leg stump line, Pope stays tall in his crease and pulls it along the carpet towards deep backward square leg region.
Physio is out in the middle for a mandatory concussion test as Pope has been hit on his helmet.
22.1 M Jansen to O Pope
NB Over the wicket, Fuller length delivery on the off-stump line, Pope gets down on one knee and goes for a reverse scoop but gets it on the wrists and ball deflects onto his helmet.Oops, Jansen has overstepped and it's a NO BALL.
