That brings us to the end of our coverage for today. Till the next time, it's ta-ta and goodnight from me (Arya Sekhar Chakraborty), my fellow commentators Akshaya Krishna Polya, Hitesh Peddurwar and our scorer Manish Bishnoi.
Reece Topley is the Player of the Match- Thankyou. Terrific team performance to bounce back from the other day. Well it means a lot. Actually just over that stand where. I had surgery two years ago so to achieve this feat today is crazy. Everyone's dream is to play for England. Want to play my part for winning games for England. It's a privilege to play for England. It's a big game at the weekend. Have to prepare for that and try to wrap up the series.
Jos Buttler(England captain): "Yeah it is absolutely good to be on the winning side, I m delighted with the response from the guys we bowled outstandingly, It is difficult to chase we were positive but we didn't bat well, Ali and Willey put up a good partnership, we needed to take an early wicket and that credit goes to the bowlers they set up the tone straight away, (Topley)He is been brilliant in the T20s to come and perform this way is extremely good happy with the way he bowled, Happy to get back the team to the winning track, We have been doing well in the past,That puts a bit pressure on us to go and do well"
Rohit Sharma(India Captain): "Yeah I thought, You know we bowled pretty well to start with they had and I thought that target was chasable but we were never near to it, If you want to win the game we need to take all the catches we were talking about that all an all we bowled well to restrict them under 250, I thought pitch will get better for batting as the sun comes out but there was always something for the bowlers, we have a long tail It becomes important for the top order batter to bat until the end, Quick turn around for us we need to have a talk about that and come back strongly."
Mark Butcher with the post-match presentation ceremony.
Arya- Earlier in the day it was yet again Rohit Sharma who won the toss and opted to field in helpful Lord's conditions. The start was a great one for the English openers. Jason Roy finally found his rhythm back scoring a brisk 20 odd before getting dismissed by Hardik Pandya. Jonny Bairstow struggled initially but then timed the ball very well before getting castled by a great delivery by Yuzvendra Chahal.

It was exceptional bowling by Chahal in particular in the middle overs and the English batters again had to battle hard in the middle overs. The dismissal of Stokes put England under a lot of pressure. He kept going for the reverse sweep and eventually had to perish courtesy of the guile of Yuzvendra Chahal. Liam Livingstone struck some big blows before falling to Hardik Pandya.

The match-turning partnership came right after Livingstone's wicket as Moeen Ali and David Willey built together a great partnership to get England back in the game. However, there was some genuine luck involved as Prasidh Krishna dropped a sitter at deep fine leg. That cost India dearly in the end as the 62 runs partnership allowed England to reach a competitive total in the end.

Chahal bagged his 4th and broke Mohinder Amarnath's long-standing record for the best spell by an Indian bowler at Lord's. Willey struck some big blows towards the back end and was eventually dismissed for 41 but that had allowed England to reach a score close to the 250 mark. Eventually, it was an easy victory for the hosts.

Arya- At the halfway stage, India would have definitely backed themselves to chase this down, especially after what happened at the Oval not too long ago. However, the England fast bowlers had other ideas as they pegged the openers with some immaculate bowling in the first two deliveries. Back-to-back maidens surely put some pressure on Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan. After a painstaking stay at the crease, Rohit was dismissed by Reece Topley with a full inswinging delivery. This is not the first time, Rohit has fallen to a similar sort of a delivery nor it will be his last.

Shikhar Dhawan tried to nudge one down the leg side but got a strangle down which was safely taken by Jos Buttler behind the stumps. Wickets kept tumbling on a regular basis as Rishabh Pant who was sent above Suryakumar Yadav lobbed a full toss straight down the throat of the substitute fielder Philip Salt stationed at midwicket. Virat Kohli struck three crisp drives off the frontfoot but again went feeling for a delivery well outside the off-stump and got an outside edge which was safely taken by Jos Buttler behind the stumps.

Suryakumar Yadav looked the most organised of the Indian batters and carried on from where he left in the T20I series. He struck some delightful strokes and got going. He looked like the only Indian batsman who has got a safe idea of the two-paced nature of the pitch. However, he chopped one back-of-a-length delivery a tad outside off straight onto his pads. India had a long tail and the duo of Ravindra Jadeja and Hardik Pandya had to do the bulk of the scoring to get India anywhere close to the target.

Hardik Pandya batted sensibly but couldn't quite continue the good work. It was almost an after-thought to swipe a back of a length delivery from Moeen Ali and was holed out at deep midwicket. Mohammed Shami struck some lusty blows to begin his innings. He stitched a useful stand with Jadeja but the target was still a long way away. He scored 23 before getting bamboozled by a slower delivery from Topley and lobbed one straight to the mid-on fielder. The final nail in the coffin for India was when Liam Livingstone castled Ravindra Jadeja with his first delivery. In the end it was an easy victory for England. The last two wickets fell cheaply as well, with England romping home by 100 runs.

Arya- A clinical performance from Reece Topley and the other English bowlers as they storm their way back into the series with a crushing 100 runs victory to level the series 1-1. Topley bagged 6/24 and was the main man with the ball. He bowled brilliantly with the new ball and the old ball and broke the backbone of the Indian batting line-up.
Akshaya: Reece Topley's figures read 9.5- 2-24-6! And that's amazing right!
38.5 R Topley to P Krishna
W That's it India are bundled up 146runs!!!! Topley gets his 6th wicket what a game he has had, Length delivery outside the off stump line, Krishna without any foot movement pokes at it and gets a faint edge and the ball goes straight into the hands of the keeper. England wins the match by 100 runs, They level the series by 1-1. Topley now has the best ever figures by an England bowler in ODI cricket.
38.4 R Topley to P Krishna
0 Fuller length delivery pitching outside the off stump line, Swinging back into the batter, Krishna shoulders his arms to it, But the ball was too close to the stumps.
38.3 R Topley to P Krishna
0 Short delivery on the off stump line, Krishna leans back and tries to sway the bat from the ball but gets it on toe end of bat and ball toes towards slip
38.3 R Topley to P Krishna
WD Back of the length delivery down the leg side, Umpire signals it as wide.
Arya- A big moment for Reece Topley. Gets a fifer and it has been a sensational spell of left-arm medium pace bowling. Another batter plays the wrong line, albeit a No 10 as the ball clatters onto the stumps.

38.2 R Topley to Y Chahal
W Knocked him over!!!!! Topley gets his fifth wicket!! Topley leaps up in the air and celebrates the wicket, Length delivery on the middle stump line angling away from the batter, Chahal stays back in the crease and plays inside the line of the ball and gets beaten, ball rattles the off stump.
