That's all we have from the commentary box. We have a double header tomorrow. Do join us for our coverage in Onecricket and Cricket Exchange. Till then it's ta-ta and goodnight from me (Arya Sekhar Chakraborty) and my fellow commentators Akshay Bhide and Arjun Bhalla.
Eoin Morgan, England skipper - Yeah I am incredibly proud of what we have done today particularly with the ball. Tymal went down asking a few questions but Livingstone and Moeen Ali stood up. I think Buttler played one of his best innings in England shirt. Ebs and flows and then sheer domination in the end. The fielding was also great.

Sri Lanka pushed us back and they should be incredibly proud of what they have achieved as well. I think the combination of unbelievable skill level and the calm nature he goes about. He knows when to score and how to score. We have seen him in this form in the group stage as well. I always believe in myself. It has been tough but just to get the partnership going was great for us.
Dasun Shanaka, Sri Lanka skipper- Yeah ofcourse, you know the whole tournament, the bowlers have been outstanding in the first ten overs. This is their first World Cup, the experience is very low. When they gain more experience, they will do really good for the team.

In the second half, we knew that dew factor will play a major role. But fall of wickets at regular intervals cost the match for us. Buttler and Morgan showed their experience and batted brilliantly. Yeah six months back we were not the same team. I am happy with their fighting spirit and going into the future it will be good for us.
Jos Buttler, Player of the Match- I think patience was the key. Managed to get a good partnership with Morgs. We were trying to get something going. We were finding the spinners very hard and we were looking at 120 at one stage.

I really enjoyed batting with Morgs (Morgan). I just use the same one all the time (referring to his choice of bats). The run out was very special, the best part of the day. We were under the pump in the run chase. I was trying to guess where he was going to bowl. I was calm, had batted for a long time and waited and it came.

Arya: A valiant effort from the Lankans eventually goes in vain as England keep their winning record intact in the tournament making it four out of four. Wanindu Hasaranga and the skipper Dasun Shanaka kept them in the run-chase for a considerable amount of time but their dismissals allowed England to tighten the screws on the lower order and eventually Sri Lanka fell well short by 26 runs.

Sri Lankan started off pretty poorly losing wickets at regular intervals. Charith Asalanka started off in his own trademark fashion by finding the boundaries on a consistent basis. He smashed 3 fours and a six en route to his breezy knock but succumbed to a brilliant piece of bowling by Adil Rashid.

Kusal Perera and Avishka Fernando also fell in quick succession as Sri Lanka was sliding down the barrel. It was some good positive strokeplay from Bhanuka Rajapaksa which gave the Sri Lankan supporters an array of hope but after his dismissal all seemed lost for the Lankans but the duo of Wanindu Hasaranga and skipper Dasun Shanaka had other ideas.

18.6 M Ali to M Theekshana
W Theekshana goes after that and holes it out to wide long-on. Theekshana tries to go big over long-on, but doesn't reach the pitch of it. Mistimes it down the ground and finds the fielder at the boundary. Jordan takes the catch near the boundary cushion. That is it!!! That is all!!! England have scored a famous win here! As this win takes them into the semifinal of T20 World Cup 2021!!!!
18.5 M Ali to M Theekshana
2 Theekshana gets a back of a length ball around off, he hangs back and cracks a cut through covers for a couple of runs.
18.4 M Ali to L Kumara
1 Tosses it up now. Kumara dances down the track to a length ball and darts it back to Mo Ali who does some fumbling job and allows him to sneak a run.
18.3 M Ali to L Kumara
0 Into the pitch again. Slides off the deck. Kumara rocks back and miscues the pull to Ali.

18.2 M Ali to C Karunaratne
W Tossed up and Karunaratne goes after that one. He again miscues the shot but this time he faxes the ball in the air and holes one out at long-on where Roy takes a dolly. The fielder placed for that very shot.. Good length into the pitch. Karunaratne can't get enough strength on the shot. He hits it straight down the throat of Jason Roy who does the rest of the business.
18.1 M Ali to C Karunaratne
0 Ali is back into the attack. He starts off with a short ball that drifts in from the off stump line. Karunaratne rocks back but mistimes the pull to long-on for a zilch. Karunaratne doesn't want singles.
