That's it from our coverage of this wonderful T20 World Cup qualifier game. A big congratulations to Scotland and best wishes to the Oman team going forward. Here's me Ninaad Dixit along with Sourya Chowdhury and Akshay Bhide bidding adieu!

Stay tuned to OneCricket and CricketExchange for more cricket coverage around the globe!
Kyle Coetzer | Scotland skipper: "It's a great feeling for us. Congratulations to Oman and Zeeshan, they played really well. It was a great group stage. This is a great moment for us, to showcase our cricket at the grandest stage. There is a great following of the game back home.
Great for Cricket Scotland as well.

There is a great togetherness in the team, that has led to us doing well. These boys have been together for a long time, many were there in World T20 last time. We just missed out last time.

This is a unit that is gelling in all departments.

We are in a mighty tough group, but we will enter every game willing to give our best, hoping to win more.
We have dropped a couple of catches, but our bowling has generally been good, especially up front.
I am sure we will find time to celebrate a little tonight.
"
Zeeshan Maqsood | Oman skipper: "We missed a good chance to be in the Super 12s, but life doesn't end here, we will come back strongly. We failed to get to a big total and failed to get breakthroughs at regular intervals. If we had picked up wickets, we would have created a chance.

Jatinder is in a good nick but unfortunately got run out. We made a good comeback but the middle order didn't do too well that's why we fell short. We are confident that we are playing good cricket, we still have lots of good cricket to play at the world stage. We have an upcoming tour of Namibia and we hope to do well there."
Josh Davey: "What a day that was for Scottish cricket. Everyone was buzzing in the camp and so happy to qualify for the main draw.
I guess we have a flight to catch up so no celebrations tonight.
It is about the belief in the side and at the start of the World Cup, we believed and we qualified for the Super 12s. We will look to carry the winning momentum forward.
Some exciting teams in our group and so excited to play against them."
Josh Davey is named Man of the Match for his bowling figures of 3/25 in his four overs.
A must win fixture for both the teams after Bangladesh plundered PNG to stake a claim for the Super 12s spot. Oman won the toss and elected to bat first on a good surface but failed to capitalize.

The tournament's top scorer so far, Jatinder Singh was dismissed first ball and opener Aqib Ilyas (37 off 35), Mohammad Nadeem (25 off 21) and skipper Zeeshan Maqsood (34 off 30) were the only batters to cross double figures.

A sensational performance with the ball from Scotland. Josh Davey was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 3 for 25. Safyaan Sharif and Michael Leask chipped in with 2 wickets each as Mark Watt picked up 1. Chris Greaves couldn't chip in with a wicket but was economical in his 2 overs spell and was brilliant in the field.

Scotland has had a mixed tournament as far as their fielding standard is concerned but they were brilliant in the field tonight and the Oman batters struggled to find the gaps. The pressure kept on mounting on the Oman batters as they were dismissed for a paltry 122 in 20 overs.

In reply, Scotland started cautiously as the required run rate was just around a run a ball. They lost just one wicket in the powerplay which set the tone for the chase as Kyle Coetzer and Matthew Cross added 42 for the second wicket.

Some brilliant hitting by the skipper Coetzer (41 off 28, 2 fours 3 sixes) and Richie Berrington (31 not out off 21, 1 four 3 sixes) made sure Scotland won with 18 deliveries to spare! Wicketkeeper Matthew Cross deserves a special mention as he held one end with a cautious knock of 26 off 35 deliveries.

The Oman bowling looked out of sorts tonight as only Khawar Ali and Bilal Khan impressed with the bowling with the latter going wicketless.

No other team across both the groups have performed the way Scotland has performed in the tournament so far and the teams in Group B (India, Pakistan, New Zealand and Afghanistan) need to be aware of the new rivals in their group in Super 12s. The domination of Scotland across all the three matches including the one against the experienced Bangladeshis was at another level!
Sourya: What a great moment for Scotland this, truly deserving of their place under the Sun. Into the main draw of the World T20.

16.6 M Nadeem to R Berrington
6 It's all over! Richie Berrington finishes this with a six! Slog sweeps this over deep mid wicket straight on the big viewing screen! Scotland claims the top spot in Group B and qualify along with Bangladesh in the Super 12s!
16.5 M Nadeem to R Berrington
4 In the gap and four! A welcome boundary for Scotland! Good length delivery, transfers his weight on the back foot and pulls it in the gap towards deep mid wicket!
16.4 M Nadeem to M Cross
1 Fuller delivery on the off and middle stump, flicked away towards the right of deep square leg fielder for another run.
16.3 M Nadeem to R Berrington
1 Attempted yorker but ends up bowling a full toss on middle and leg. Berrington plays this across the line towards deep mid wicket for yet another single.
16.2 M Nadeem to M Cross
1 Scotland just two strikes away from the win now. Good length straying on the pads, Cross pushes this towards deep mid wicket for a run.
16.1 M Nadeem to M Cross
0 Nadeem is back in the attack, bowling over the wicket. On the money, first delivery, good length aimed at the top of the off stump, Cross defends it back to the bowler.

15.6 B Khan to R Berrington
0 Absolutely brilliant over from Bilal but I guess it's too late for Oman now. Faster delivery, wide yorker outside the off stump, Berrington tries to dig it but misses.
15.5 B Khan to R Berrington
0 Slower delivery, well disguised. Back of a length on the stumps, Berrington swings for a pull shot very early and gets beaten due to the lack of pace. The ball passes over the stumps to the keeper.
15.5 B Khan to R Berrington
WD Wide delivery! Bouncer on the stump line, Berrington jumps and tries to play the upper cut but misses. Over height wide delivery.
15.4 B Khan to R Berrington
0 Yorker on the off stump, Berrington digs it in the off side towards extra cover. No run.
