That is all we have from the commentary box for this game. Do join us tomorrow as action never ends here. Till then it's ta-ta from me (Arjun Bhalla) and my fellow mates Akshay Bhide and Ninaad Dixit.
Mahmudullah Riyad | Bangladesh Skipper: Yes, I am smiling, a little bit but we have to improve a lot.

I think, they were in the game although it. But I'll take the win. Delivering the win for the country is the most important thing and I hope they are happy.

Shakib and Naim played brilliantly and took us 150 plus we should have started well with the ball. Some wides here and there, some extra runs. But bowlers brought us back. We need to correct those areas where we erred.

Death bowling has been good, and we have done well in many areas, so we'll take heart from that. Cheers!
Zeeshan Maqsood | Oman Skipper: "We had a good start to the chase. The opening batters did a good job but the lower order batters failed to capitalize on the start.

We started brilliantly but fell short in the end. We needed 50 runs from the last five overs and it was too much to do in the end.

All the fans come here and support both teams. Sorry to all the fans that we couldn't get over the line. Maybe we will come back stronger in the next game.

We will have our final game against Scotland and look to rectify our mistakes. We will analyze where it went wrong and look to bounce back in the next game."
Shakib Al Hasan is the player of the match: "It was very hard to digest the defeat against Scotland for the team. But they played really well, we did well in the first 10 overs but Scotland came back really well and then took the game away.

We wanted to come back stronger tonight after the loss. I think Oman did really well throughout the 40 overs but our team had the edge over them due to the experience. They were always in the game and played hard cricket and I wish them best of luck for the future matches.

This win will settle our nerves, we have another game and we hope to do well against Papua New Guinea."
Arjun: And that's it! Bangladesh bring themselves out of a mess. They pull off a victory out of the jaws, after a daunting loss. They could have gotten knocked out of this T20 World Cup today, but their strength... their bowling brought things at peace and nailed down a victory against a high-spirited Oman by 26 runs.

The host bowlers brought them in the game by restricting Bangladesh to 153 and the batters had an achievable task. Oman’s opening duo of Jatinder Singh and Aqib Ilyas, who thrashed Papua New Guinea by ten wickets in the tournament opener, came out in a high-spirited. However, Ilyas was detached by Mustafizur and later a fluent-looking Kashyap Prajapati was also undone by Fizz.

Things were still in Oman’s hands as Jatinder was standing as a daunting concern for the Tigers. It was when Mahmudullah Riyad's played his cards right, by bringing the spinners in and tightening things up. Mahedi Hasan and Shakib Al Hasan put up the right screws, the former took the opposition skipper - Zeeshan Maqsood but it was Shakib’s break through of Jatinder which turned the table around.

When Mahedi finished his misery of a spell, Mahmudullah brought back his pacers to land the knocking punch. The seamer put the lid on and Shakib ran through the frail Oman middle order, from the other end. At the death, the pace brothers - Fizz and Saif were at their might best. But the pick of the bowler was Mustafizur Rahman with another World Cup four-fer.

Earlier in the day, the Oman pacers were also exceptionally well. Bilal Khan and Fayyaz Butt took three Tiger wickets apiece, alongside Kaleemullah who scalped twice. The difference between these two teams turned out to be the partnership of Mohammad Naim and Shakib Al Hasan.
