That is all we have from the commentary box for this game. Do join us tomorrow as action never ends here. Till then it's ta-ta from me - Arjun Bhalla- and my fellow mates Anurag Dasgupta and Karthik Raj.
Kyle Coetzer: "Credit to the Bangladesh bowlers, they showed some high skills here. We were on back-foot, but this is T20 and you can never count a team out. Greaves and Watt played a brilliant knock today.  There was plenty of due in the second innings and I felt we dealt with it really nicely. We fought really well and hope we can build on this. We certainly didn't play at our best today, but I know we have the capability to win games from any situation."
Mahmudullah: "I think so the total was quite gettable. The bowlers did a great job to restrict them to 140, but we did not bat well. I think we were one wicket away from restricting them to a lower total. But credit to Scotland, they did a really good job. (On his team's batting woes)- Yes, when you are chasing 140 and you can't chase it, there has to be question asked and a need to correct the mistakes. We need to pull up our socks and plays better cricket."
Chris Greaves | Man of the Match: "Spectacular win and really happy with my performance. It was a tough situation when I arrived at the crease and it doesn't always go your way. When we got 140 on the board, we knew our team have the bowlers to defend it. Really happy that I can contribute for my side. It feels incredible to be a Scottish cricketer at the moment and  I am taking it one day at a time. Hope many more days like this to come."
Arjun: Unbelievable scenes at the Oman Cricket Academy! Scotland beat Bangladesh by 6 runs. They have outclassed the sixth-placed team. Scotland pulls off an upset? I don't think so!!! It's not just a victory, it's a victory for ages and hopefully they would put on a couple more such shows in this tournament.

From 55-6 to put up 140 runs on board, and winning the game by six runs. That speaks volume about this Scottish side. Chris Greaves was their heartthrob for his team. It was his 45 off 28 deliveries that revived the Scotland innings, which gave them the momentum and confidence to haunt the Tigers.

While defending 140 runs with dew on pitch, the Scottish bowlers poured their hearts and skills. The Bangla openers got out cheaply, before Rahim and Shakib did the rebuilding job. The defendable pair of Bangladesh took their time but got perished when they had to accelerate. The Scotland spinner tightened the things and bagged scalps on a consistent basis. The showstoppers were Wheal and Greaves, while every other bowler showed some misery.

Mahmudullah and Afif Hossain gave their side a fighting chance until the end but the equation proved too much for them towards the end. But the pressure got better off the Tigers. And in the end, it was a special Scottish effort.

1 Scotland beat Bangladesh by 6 runs. They have outclassed the sixth-placed team. Scotland pulls off an upset? I don't think so!!! It's not just a victory, it's a victory for ages and hopefully they would put on a couple more such shows in this tournament. That one was a short ball at the stumps, Mahedi can only hang back for a pull towards deep mid-wicket for a solitary run to draw the curtains here at Muscat.
19.5 S Sharif to M Hasan
4 Low full outside off, Hasan sits back in the crease and kneels down as he smear it on the up past extra cover to send the ball racing to the fence. They needed a maximum here.
19.4 S Sharif to M Hasan
6 FULL TOSS AND THAT HAS BEEN PUT AWAY!!!! Hasan is asking for the height no ball. But he won't get the freehit. Gets a full toss on the leg-stump, Mahedi backs away and clubs this powerfully over mid-wicket as the ball into the stands. 12 off 2 now.
19.3 S Sharif to M Saifuddin
1 Holes this one in the blockhole. Saifuddin could only bunt it back to the bowler and they rotate the strike. 18 off three deliveries now.
19.2 S Sharif to M Saifuddin
4 Saifuddin nails a boundary. Hopes are still there for the Tigers. The batter gets a fuller length delivery outside off, Saif arches back and slogs it over mid-off for a boundary to the ropes. 19 off 4 - that's manageable.
DG: A big wake-up call for the Bangladesh team. Can't just win at home and feel happy about it. You have to perform on the big stage and they have not done that..
19.1 S Sharif to M Hasan
1 An inch-perfect yorker on the off-stump and Mahedi goes to reverse-lap it over third man, ends up playing it onto his helmet before running a single as the ball ricochets towards backward point.

1 Mahedi Hasan goes to hit Wheal out of the park but could land it in front of mid-off. He makes room to tonk it to mid-off as the ball hits him high on the bat. Just a single.

W Mahmudullah goes after the bowler. He had to. He had no choice. And mistimes this. The skipper perishes. Is the last hope for Bangladesh gone? I guess so! It was in the slot just outside off, Mahmudullah stands his ground and clatters it a country mile into the night sky as he looks to go downtown. He fails to get enough distance though and with a certain Calum MacLeod running to his left from long on, he is not going to drop this sitter.
18.4 B Wheal to M Riyad
0 yorker on the off-stump and Mahmudullah can all but jam it back along the pitch. Priceless dot!
