So that’s it from this fascinating contest. A win for South Africa Women against the debutants Bangladesh women here. I am  AkshayaKrishna Polya who is signing off on behalf of Ninaad Dixit and Anirudh Modi. We will meet in the next match. Until then, it’s cheers..!!!
Sune Luus: "Some nervous moments but we have some world class and exceptional players. We are very proud of Khaka. With her and Kappie, Shabnim Ismail and Klaas, we have a great bowling line up. We never got going and never got the partnerships but the way Kapp and Chloe Tryon batted in the last overs made us go over the target we had set for ourselves. Kapp said let's take the points and go. We didn't play to our 100% today and we are gonna do better in the next one."
Nigar Sultana: "I am fine right now. It sill hurts but I will be fine by tomorrow, I didn't feel anything during the match. We had a great start, our bowlers did very well. If we could do well in batting then maybe we can win. I think we got a great start from the openers but in the middle overs we lost so many wickets. If we got a good partnership there then we could have won in 45 overs. I had a partnership with Moni, so we had a chat that we need to keep the rhythm going. There are lot of positives we would want to take out of this match for the next ones. There are lot of fans eagerly waiting for our win and we are not going to disappoint them in the next match."
Ayabonga Khaka: "I take every game as it comes and try to do my job as best as I can. I always try to focus on the future that I am gonna try my best every game. We were confident as a team to defend the total and we did it. Just follow your heart and don't question your dreams. Bangladesh played well and bowled well as a unit and put us under pressure. They will do better in their next game."
Ayabonga Khaka is the player of the match.
An excellent finish from South Africa women as they take their first game by 32 runs here at Dunedin. After that early scare South Africa women's came back strongly to win this.

Chasing a fairly mediocre target of 208-runs to win Bangladesh Women started slowly but steadily as their openers Shamima Sultana and Sharmim Akhter added 69-runs for the first wicket in 19.3-overs.

Khaka was the bowler who started the decline of Bangladesh Women’s innings. Shamima scored 27 off 50-balls while her partner scored 34 off 77-deliveries. If these two could bat a bit more positively they would have won.

But no issues either as they were playing their first ever match in the World Cup. Khaka clinched the wickets of Sharmim and Murshida Khatun in the matter of 3-deliveries as she pushed the Bangla Women’s side to 72-3. A direct-hit from Klaas pulled curtains to the Fargana Hoque innings.

They lost wickets at clusters and at one stage were 113-6 after 35.3-overs. Rumana Ahmed (21 off 32-balls) was the 100th dismissal for Khaka in Women’s ODI cricket. A late surge from the duo of skipper Nigar Sultana who had a slight issue with her knee and Ritu Moni made South African Women’s to think and were put under pressure.

These two added 53-runs for the seventh wicket. With the departure of Ritu Moni in the 46th over  it was almost done and dusted for them. She was bowled by Ismail for 27-runs from 38-balls. If these two had batted a bit up in the order, the situations would have been different.

The skipper eventually got run-out in the last ball of the 47th over. She scored an anchoring innings of 29-runs from 59-balls. As she got out it was certain that they were going to lose. The last two wickets didn't yield many runs. Kapp ended the innings with a wicket of Trisna and sat down on the pitch as she had some issues on her right shoulder. Bangladesh Women's were bundled out for 175-runs in 49.3-overs.

Ayabonga Khaka was the pick of the bowlers and bowled an extremely wonderful spell of 10-3-32-4. She was well supported by Masabata Klaas who picked up two wickets for 36 runs. Experienced quick bowler Shabnim Ismail bowled an economic spell of 1-33 alongside Marizanne Kapp who picked up the final wicket. Chloe Tryon and Sune Luus went wicketless.
49.3 M Kapp to F Trisna
W Bowled her! And it's all over! South Africa register their first win despite Bangladesh showing decent fight in their World Cup debut! Bowls a half volley on the leg stump, angling in. Trisna gets an inside edge on her pads which goes on to hit her leg stump! South Africa win by 32 runs!
49.2 M Kapp to F Trisna
0 Too full on the leg stump, pushes this to extra cover on the front foot.
49.1 M Kapp to J Alam
1 Kapp to finish off the proceedings. Starts over the wicket with a full toss on the off stump. Puleld away towards deep mid wicket for a single.
