Milestone
So that's all for the coverage of this game. What a nail-biter we all witnessed here. The playoffs begin from Sunday, so do join us for the ball-to-ball coverage. Till then, it's a ta-ta and a goodnight from me, Anurag Dasgupta and my co-commentators, Arjun Bhalla and Anurag Singh..
Srikar Bharat | Man of the match:

"Great game and an incredible feeling to finish off the game. Maxi and I discussed to just watch the ball till the very end and it worked for us. I have worked hard and I know nothing comes easy. This will give me a lot of confidence heading forward."
Virat Kohli | RCB skipper:

"What a game it was. We had nothing to lose, but it was a competitive game which is always the case in the IPL. Everything was good about that innings. The way AB played initially and then Maxi and Bharat took off was sensational. This victory gives us a much needed confidence as we haven't chased well throughout the tournament."
Rishabh Pant | DC skipper:

"The way we fielded today, we deserved to lose. We all know how important catching is in the shortest format of the game. We lost too many wickets while batting and that is where we lost the plot. Not feeling really happy as we have to win these kind of matches."
Time for the presentation ceremony
Chasing a tricky 165 to win, RCB lost the plot inside the first two overs when they lost both DDP and Virat Kohli. The wicket was sluggish and DC bowlers took full advantage of the conditions. ABD was promoted at number 4 and he struggled to get going. The duo of de Villiers and Bharat stitched a 3rd wicket partnership of 49 runs, before ABD was dismissed by the wily Axar Patel.

At the 10 over mark, victory was far away from RCB's grasp. But then the lightning struck in the form of Bharat and Glenn Maxi who had some other plans. Both the batters decided to cut loose and went berserk against the DC bowlers. Maxwell was struggling with some cramps, but the Aussie never gave up and reached his sixth half-century of the season. Bharat too joined the party and notched up his maiden fifty in IPL. RCB needed 15 off the last over and all the drama unfolded in that over.

Avesh Khan did everything right in the last over as at one stage, RCB needed 8 off 2 balls. But then he decided to gift away the victory to the opposition. Bharat collects a couple of cheeky runs off the second last ball of the game and then Avesh Khan darted one down the legs for a wide. And yes, then came the big moment of the game when Bharat sealed the deal with a majestic six.
Arjun: DG don't cry! Yes, our Royal Challengers Bangalore have done it. We aren't dreaming mate!!

6 SIXX!! The young man has done it. What an innings this has been!! Poor stuff from Avesh. Fires another full toss on the stumps. Bharat goes for the wild hoick and just manages to clear the long on boundary for a maximum.
Anyone calling for SUPER OVER???
19.6 A Khan to S Bharat
WD Fires the full toss down the leg side, wide called by the umpire. Nerves, nerves.. Avesh needs to keep his cool and deliver a wide yorker.
DG: C'mon Bharat, you can do it!! Do it for us. Do it for the RCB fans....
Two taken. RCB need six off the last ball.
19.5 A Khan to S Bharat
2 Another brutal yorker on the off, Bharat flicks it to the vacant mid wicket region and takes off for a couple. Excellent running by these two. Super over mostly out of the cards.
19.4 A Khan to S Bharat
0 Swing and a miss!! Was in the slot outside off but Bharat swings down the wrong line and misses it by a mile. 2 boundaries required off the last 2 balls.
DC have taken the review. Clearly it was going down the leg stump. Pant has taken a tactical DRS here. He is having a talk with his bowler. The Verdict is out. Was going down the leg.
19.3 A Khan to G Maxwell
1lb Inch-perfect yorker to Maxi who fails to dig this out but sneaks in a single leg byes. Pant has gone for the review but it looks needless at the moment. This is clearly going down the leg.
DG: 9 required off 4 deliveries. Phewww, I am nervous......
Arjun: Sixth half-century for Maxi in this season's IPL. Sir Maxwell, take a bow. He has been the real reason behind Bangalore's success in this year's IPL.
