That concludes our coverage for the day. This is Arjun Bhalla signing off on the behalf of my fellow mates Arya Sekhar Chakraborty and Akshay Bhide. See you tomorrow for another cracking encounter. Till the next time, ta-ta and goodnight.
Axar Patel: It is difficult to assess the length and line, and the pace of the ball [on such pitches]. I thought they score five or ten runs less in the powerplay. Hetmyer and I were discussing that they would bowl wide yorkers according to their field. Batting is your confidence booster, especially since we will be going to the playoffs. This confidence then helps you later.
Axar Patel bags the Man of the Match award for his 2 for 18.
Rishabh PantNot a birthday present, was a tough match, we made it tough for ourselves. In the end if we win everything is fine. In the powerplay, they came hard and got away. After that we bowled some good overs. In the end, they got away with some extra runs. With the bat, Prithivi got us to a good start. We were always in the chase as it was a low total, in the end we got over the line.
Shimron Hetmyer: It's very important [to finish off games]. I was thinking I was out [when the catch was dropped], but the guy missed it. [Plan against Bravo?] For me it was easy. I have had lot of practice in the CPL. I tried to go as straight as possible.
MS DhoniWe were looking to get close to 150. After we lost a few wickets - and around the 15-16 over wicket - we were looking good. There were shots played... and if it had come down to eight or ten deliveries, it could have made a difference. It's a two-paced wicket - some balls come to you and some don't. It's not a placid wicket where you can play your shots. I felt the taller bowlers where the ones who were getting that movement. It was a very good effort [by the bowlers]. But it was important not to give away too many in the first six overs.

Delhiā€™s openers stride out in some mood as both Dhawan and Shaw went after the new-ball bowlers. Both the willow-holders nailed some classy boundaries, on both sides of the wicket. In a small chase like this, Delhi were already on 24 inside the third over, but then Chahar drew the first blood by removing Shaw. After the youngster, it was Shreyas Iyer who played a pathetic across-the-line flick and sliced it to covers.

After these two wickets, the Capitals went berserk against the Yellove Army. Dhawan picked one Deepak Chahar over and spanked the pacer for 21 runs, including two sixes and two fours. The opener had his skipper on the other end, who played a Pant-esque innings, an eventful 13-ball 15 before miscuing a Jadeja delivery.

With Pant's dismissal, the game opened for CSK, opened for CSK to pull things back things. Chennai scalped Ripal Patel, Ravichandran Ashwin and Shikhar Dhawan in a space of six runs. And it was heading towards another MS Dhoni styled comeback.

With 38 runs still to get in the last five overs or so, Hetmyer became the hero for DC and K Gowtham turned out to be villain for CSKā€™s fans. The southpaw batter skied a sitter towards the sub-fielder at wide long-on in the 18th over.. but he was dropped before the ball rushed to the fence for a boundary.

Hetmyer and Axar Patel took the responsibility and took the game deep as they never let it run away from their hands. The latter holed one out at covers, but with Hetmyer remained not out on the other, when KG Rabada flicked a leg-stump yorker to fine leg to seal the game.

A match-winning boundary from KG Rabada's blade and Delhi Capitals have registered a famous win over MSD's Chennai here in Dubai. Hetmyer hops high in the air, Ricky Ponting is jumping and hugging the birthday boy - Rishabh Pant here, emotions are all over the park.

A misery in CSKā€™s bowling department was powered by MSDā€™s brainy captaincy, as Delhi Capitals came out to chase a mere total of 137 runs in the second innings. But it was Pant's boys who make it two in two against MSD's men in this season's IPL.
19.4 D Bravo to K Rabada
4 KG Rabada finishes the game in style. That's the end of the game. Bravo bowls it full on the pads, Rabada was up to the challenge as he flicks it fine for a boundary. DC wins the game by 3 wickets and go to the top of the table.
Arjun: KG walks out now. This game is still wide open folks. DC need 2 to win off 3 deliveries now.

19.3 D Bravo to A Patel
W Drilled straight to covers. Is there a twist in the tale? Bravo bowls a slower delivery outside off, Axar drives it aerially straight to Moeen Ali at covers. This game is not over folks. DC need 2 runs from 3 balls.
19.2 D Bravo to A Patel
0 Swing and a miss. Bravo bowls on a length outside off, Axar swings hard at it and misses.
19.2 D Bravo to S Hetmyer
1wd That is a wayward delivery from Bravo. Bowls a slower delivery but way outside the tramline and Dhoni fails to collect it. Hazlewoood from short third man does well to stop it. It is given as a wide.
Akshay: MS Dhoni is standing up to the stumps so that Hetmyer cannot stand outside his crease.
19.1 D Bravo to S Hetmyer
2 Bravo has 6 to defend. He starts with a slower delivery outside off, Hetmyer slaps it past covers and scampers back for the second.
