Rishabh Pant: If not the best, it is one of the best (on DC's bowling attack). But we like to take it as one match at a time. There's a fair bit of planning, as a team we plan according to the batters, and execute according to those plans.

Arya: Coming back to the match, it was going to be a tricky run chase. for the Royals but with some exceptional players in their ranks, they would have definitely backed themselves to chase this down. Liam Livingstone was sent in up the order with Yashasvi Jaiswal but both the openers fell cheaply and in consecutive deliveries.
While Avesh Khan accounted for Livingstone in the final delivery of the first over with a well-disguised slower one, Anrich Nortje bagged the wicket of Yashasvi Jaiswal in the first delivery of his spell. David Miller who replaced Evin Lewis in the XI was dismissed early as well as Ravichandran Ashwin accounted for him with a well tossed up delivery inviting him for a big shot.
He ended up stepping down the track missing it altogether and Pant did the rest behind the stumps. Sanju Samson started off in a sedate fashion as wickets fell around him but was the only RR batsman who looked at complete ease at the crease. While he is someone known to smash the ball all around the park, he realised the slowness of the pitch and used the delicate shots more than the power shots.
Mahipal Lomror chipped in with a 24 balls 19 but the required rate kept climbing and the rest of the batsmen couldn't help Samson around. He was the only one standing between DC and victory but in the end the target proved to be way too much. Eventually, Samson remained unbeaten on 70 as his team succumbed to a 33 runs victory. This is the first time that Samson has remained unbeaten in a losing cause (chasing) for the Royals.

Anrich Nortje: It was quite slow, but Shreyas said it was difficult to hit straight. So we weire trying to get them to hit straight. All the bowlers did a great job. We try and share ideas as much as we can, and then you make the most of it.

Sanju Samson, RR skipper- I thought the total was chasable but we lost too many wickets and weren't able to get any momentum in our chase. We might consider changes for the next game, but it is too early now. We have to remove all emotion before that.
Arya: Another resounding victory for the Delhi Capitals as they again leapfrog Chennai Super Kings to occupy the numero uno position in the points table. A high class bowling performance by the Capitals saw them restrict the relatively below-par score of 154/6 with relative comfort in the end.
